The iRobot Roomba j7+ was easy to start using right out of the box. After cleaning the whole house a couple of times and making a map of our home, it allowed me to label individual rooms so I could just tell it to clean certain rooms if I wanted to. This vacuum is very powerful and gets the job done! The app is very easy to use.

This is the best Roomba I have ever owned. Before this one, we owned a 900 series and a 600 series, and they cannot even compare to this one. We were battling massive amounts of dog hair daily. Now, we don’t. I was constantly having to empty the 600 and 900 series Roomba. The 600 series was always clogged up with hair around the rollers and the 900 series had to be cleaned every single time it vacuumed for even a few minutes, including the sensors having to be wiped down after even vacuum. That was so beyond aggravating to have to keep up with doing every day. I have this roomba j7 vacuum set on a schedule, and it goes out every single day and vacuums and goes back home to charge itself and empty itself. It goes back out as many times as it needs until the job is done. I don’t have to do anything now that I have it set up. I also love the mapping. I like that I can send it out to vacuum in one specific area if needed or schedule it to hit one area more than one time a day. I cannot say how long its performance will last, as I’ve only had it for about a month, but so far, it has been perfect. Also, I have all hard surface floors with no rugs, so I don’t know how it works with rugs and carpet. One final thing, when it empties, it sounds like a jet plane about to take off. It is so incredibly loud. Keep that in mind if you need a quiet house for babies sleeping, while you’re working from home, or any other reason. It takes about 10-20 seconds to empty.

First time buying a robot vacuum and I can say by now I won’t go back to regular vacuum again. My floors have never been so clean. Robbie (my iRobot) will do the job while I’m eating breakfast, working at my desk or while I’m busy doing something else. At first it was a little complicated to understand how the robot works and it takes a few first vacuums to the robot learn your space and do a good job. I’ve been using for almost two months and I can’t imagine having a regular vacuum again. Totally worth the investment.

I really like it. The app is easy to use and set up and doesn’t really good job cleaning up. I’m glad I got it. It helps a ton.

I bought this for my parents as a gift. They are elderly and are struggling to keep up with the house cleaning chores. It was super easy to set up. Right out of the box we downloaded the app, connected to it and started it on its way mapping the house. It ran for quite a while with the charge it came with. When it ran low, it took itself right back to the base, paused the mapping and started charging. Once charged, it came back out and finished its duties! I’m so jealous I now want one for myself!

Excellent robot vacuum. clean the whole house in various sections. The only problem is that when connecting to the dock for the self-cleaning process, the sound is very loud that terrified my dog, almost on the verge of a heart attack, although that noise is only for a few seconds. I have thought about returning it or doing an exchange due to the noise. But it works efficiently.

This is my 5th Roomba. I've owned them since generation 1. This is my 3rd one with a cleaning base, and my first one with the wide cleaning base style. I have owned this Roomba for around a month, and twice so far it has reported a sealing error. The first problem, I think, was related to dog kibble that the Roomba had found. It was unable to evacuate it from the collector. My previous i7 never had that problem. The second time it reported a sealing problem, I was unable to find any issue and resorted to calling iRobot who first blamed it on placement (except my Roomba has literally been in that same spot for like 5 years), and finally told me to reboot everything. Rebooting seems to have "fixed" it, however that doesn't explain what happened in the first place. I remain cautiously optimistic. The front facing camera seems to help prevent problems with cords and other obstacles, and the upgraded cleaning algorithm cleans faster than my old i7. It also seems to have found more fine dust particles than my old i7, because I see it in the bin. If the sealing issues weren't a concern, I'd give it 5 stars.

The iRobot Roomba j7+ (7550) has transformed my home cleaning experience. Its Wi-Fi connectivity allows me to control it effortlessly from my phone, and the automatic dirt disposal feature is a huge time-saver, eliminating the need for constant emptying. The suction power is impressive, even on carpets and hard-to-reach corners. Plus, its navigation technology avoids obstacles, giving me peace of mind around furniture. Overall, this robot vacuum has made cleaning much more efficient and convenient. Highly recommended!

I love this vacuum! I have hardwood floors with low pile rugs and it does a great job of cleaning. The mapping is pretty accurate and easy to pick specific rooms that you want cleaned, and avoiding areas you don’t want cleaned. It will run for about 90 minutes then recharge and finish the job (if needed). The only drawback is that it’s LOUD, especially when the bin empties.

Cleans downstairs and helps so we arent sweeping a couple of times a day. It takes a little to get used to with their app alerts and learning how the machine will take the terrain in your home. The pup is funny around it but he is funny about everything. No regrets

Got this as a gift for my mother. She is a bit less mobile nowadays, and this was a perfect gift to keep her home clean and does not require her to move too much. Took a few times to program the map in the house, but once it was set, cleaning has been a breeze!

This is a great robot vacuum. This is not my first iRobot vacuum. It does a great job cleaning and while it does make occasional contact with furniture it does so at a really slow speed. This reduces the risk of damage to the furniture. It also does a great job avoiding getting stuck on small obstacles left on the floor.

This is our second iRobot vacuum, but the older version actually seems smarter than this one. Yes it detects some cords and avoids objects, but that prevents it from doing a thorough cleaning of our space. The older model cleaned edges better because it went back around all of the perimeter at the end. The emptying is very loud when it returns back to the base and frequently gets clogged. The sensors for charging need to be cleaned frequently or it won’t charge on the base. I love that it will do some of my daily vacuuming, but I typically still need to get the Dyson out to finish the job.

So I’ve been using this robot for about a month. And I have to say it’s been great. I have mixed floors of short carpet and hardwood. It transitions over them nicely. Thick floor mats may give this a hard time. The robot will map out your house and you can set up rooms and boundaries. It will take pictures of obstacles and ask you to verify if they’re temporary or permanent so it can avoid them. It self empties after each job. That part can be a bit noisy for about 10 seconds. My only grip really. I haven’t seen this thing get stuck yet. It truly is smart. It will figure out how to get out. It’s a bit pricy but as they say you get what you pay for. I have 2 cats and one is long haired so it’s nice this thing does the work so I can watch TV or do something more relaxing. This thing has been worth every dollar.

Robo as well call it does the job as advertised. It has tried to attack various family members as it stalks through the house. I usually call for my vicious attack cats and dog to protect me. Great entertainment for the family and it keeps the floor pretty clean.

Great vacuum! Once it fully mapped out my home it’s been working like a dream! It saves me so much time on housework. It gets under the beds and other furniture. It leaves my home looking like it’s been professionally cleaned. The fact that it also empties It’s own bag is a huge plus! I have a lot of square footage to vacuum because I have a reach styled home so it takes it about 2.5 hours to do everywhere because it has to go back home to charge for about an hour before it cleans the other half of the house. The only thing that I wish they would improve is the amount of noise it makes when it empties it’s bin. Otherwise, the vacuum itself is extremely quiet! You can’t even tell it’s running most of the time. When it’s cleaning hardwood floors it makes a little more noise than it does when it cleans the carpets. There’s virtually no noise at all on carpet.

This is am excellent vacuum. It was easy to operate straight out of the box. It quickly mapped the house. It was easy to name each area if the home. It does a good job of avoiding furniture, walls and temporary objects in its path. Just hope the iRobot robomop gets upgraded to the level of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

This machine is wonderful! I debated this purchase for awhile because of the cost. I have all hardwood and a dog that sheds year round. With my busy schedule it’s hard to keep up with the vacuuming. I run this every other day and it does a great job keeping the “tumble” fur away. If I miss a day, it does have trouble picking up the larger puffs of dog hair. The only thing I’ve had an issue with is linking it to my google home with voice commands. It refuses to activate with voice even though I can start it manually through google assistant. I’m two months in and love the fact I don’t have to drag out the vacuum. I’m debating on purchasing another for the second floor.
