I was really excited about this vacuum, purchased on sale but honestly I regret getting this, it gets lost most of the times, I don’t lie when I say I may be able to complete a few vacuums in my house with no problem, other than that, error messages, it takes for ever to get to the bedrooms, or it get stuck easily.

I love our little Roomba! It’s like having a robot pet… that cleans! There are occasions in which the Roomba might get stuck behind chair legs or in corners, but that’s only because it tries so hard to clean as many places as it can reach, which is a good thing. It does a great job of avoiding picking up things like cords and shoe laces. Make sure you check it weekly for any lint or hair in the moving parts, and clean it out. Follow the basic maintenance guidelines on the app and on YouTube, and this little thing will not disappoint you! Pricy but I 100% recommend!

I purchased this robot as part of a bundle with the matching mop; I’ve had it for about a week and decided that it’s going back. The robot is great for hard floors, but really struggles when it comes to area rugs. I have a puppy who sheds a lot, and the robot just struggles to pick anything up. It is a decent sweeper for hard floors and everday cleans when I’m busy, but it’s not worth spending almost a thousand dollars. When it comes to mapping, the robot is pretty good, but after 30+ years of iRobot engineering (as stated in their ads), you would think that iRobot would create a robot that does not have to hit an object or wall in order to see that it’s there. As I said before, I had it for about a week, and it already looked like it was a year old with all the damage it inflicted upon itself. In short, it’s very convenient, but you sacrifice cleaning performance. Another thing to consider when purchasing is how loud the clean base is. I didn’t believe other reviews when they stated it sounds like a jet engine, but I see what they meant now. Personally, I don’t believe spending this much money is worth it if I still have to go around and vacuum myself the many spots that the robot misses. This can be a good purchase for someone who is very busy, has limited mobility, and/or does not have pets, but unfortunately, it’s not a good fit for me.

I have had my Roomba J7+ for a little over a month I have it vacuum twice a week and I love it. It vacuums under the beds and in places you could not get a regular vacuum. I pulled out my old vacuum that has a dirt meter on it. I vacuumed after the Roomba and the dirt meter did not register dirt once!

Needs to recharge for upwards of an hour several times while vacuuming a single floor. Perhaps it becomes more efficient with routing over time, but I have yet to see it "complete" a job. It would be effective for a very small space, but in that case you could just as easily vacuum yourself in a fraction of the time. If there are 5-6 hour blocks of time when you're out of the house, this could be an adequate product, but for how hard it seems to be on itself I worry about the life of the battery long-term. Our old "dumb" Roomba's seemed to do a more effective job cleaning (finishing the job in less time) than these new "smart" models.

We have had this for almost a year now and have had a good experience with it. This was our first purchase of a "smart vacuum" so we weren't entirely sure what to expect. It does a good job and is quite thorough for the places it can reach. One thing that disappoints me is the lack of intelligence for detecting objects on the floor. We have several cats with plenty of cat toys on the floor. The roomba doesn't seem to detect these and they will get stuck in the vacuum. I have to remind myself to pickup everything in the room before the roomba does it's job.

It’s pretty bad. Unlike older models, this roomba only has one button which means that a simple and often used task like “clean this spot right here” isn’t doable by just moving the roomba to where the mess is and pressing the button. If you try to do this, this “smart” robot will use its auto-generated map of your house to promptly leave the area of the mess and go to where it wants to start “the job”. Not only this, it will not vaccine while it leaves the area! To save power for the job it wants to do. This means you need to use the iRobot app. This might be OK but no. The app is terrible. There is no “clean right here, where I put you” option, just the generated map and self-learned areas. The map actually looks pretty good, you’d think maybe you could just tap an area on the map, and have it clean that, that would be nice! But, no. That’s not how the map works. The app throws errors if you do anything to the bot. Push the bot’s button and the app use useless to do anything other than start or stop the “automatic” job (this isn’t the one you usually want)

I love this so much!! I love how you can set the schedule and let it do its thing. Self cleans, so you just changed the bag when full. I have pets and this is a total game changer when it come to pet hair!!

Very easy to set up and very efficient. I haven’t used my old vacuum since I got this one.

We bought this vacuum to replace the same i7 vacuum that didn’t have the base that vacuums out the canister. This plus version i7+ is vastly superior.. Both create a map of your house that is very helpful to keep track of what has been done. You can also separate portions of the house to give more attention to areas with a greater need. The only thing we still wanted compared to the previous i7 base version was not to have to constantly empty the canister with its dusty mess. So we returned that i7 base version, and bought this iRobot Roomba i7+ vac, the version with the home base that vacuums the mobile robot vac out as needed. That way you only have to remove and replace a bag with the debris every month or two. We love it!

Tells you problem areas it encounters so that you can adjust for the best clean possibility.

So far so good, replaces our old one after many years. Maps well and sticks to the areas it should.

I have been using the iRobot for atleast twice a week. I am very happy with the product performance. Its capability to reach corners, update maps. The self cleaning process is also neat... must buy for working family and more so if you have pets ..

This machine works great cleaning however, it has trouble docking. Keep getting an error check base, sealing issue. This happens mosr evry time, because of the error the robot wont charge. We have to keep putting it on the base.

It’s great!!! It learns and gets better. My Floors are cleaner.

Good little upgrade, my original went through pet mistakes and ended up getting ruined , this one is guaranteed to avoid that. I like that it takes pictures of obstacles so you can see what is in its way and such

Love how easy it is. I just replace the bag and don’t think about my floors.

Our first robot vacuum and we absolutely LOVE it! Let it map your house for a couple days, and then let it start cleaning. Easy, hassle free set up. Vacuum works great and avoids items on the floor. Couldn’t ask for any better!

This was opened at Christmas. We have been using it for a bit more than a week. The setup was surprisingly easy. I have run it several times first to map out the 1st floor of our home. And have run it several times, vacuuming. It has done well but has left several rolls of fur, which I expect will go away after more use. I have been pleased with how well it deals with obstacles and computer wires. Creating a Floor plan to be specific where to run is more complicated than I expected. I wish I could do it on a larger screen.

Fantastic product. We just recently moved and have tile now. The robot does the tile just as well as the carpets. Would purchase again and the pet mess detection works on all sorts of things on the ground. 10/10 recommended for all.homes .
