I really wanted to love this Roomba j7+, but I’m disappointed after several months of regular use and maintenance. I followed all recommended care - remapped floors, cleaned sensors, replaced parts as needed, and emptied or cleaned the bin regularly. It still frequently gets lost. It also clogs easily and often fails to complete cleaning jobs. I spend more time managing the vacuum than it would take to just clean myself. For a product at this price point, I expected a more reliable experience. I'm currently working with support, but I hope iRobot or Best Buy will stand behind their product and offer a refund or a better-performing replacement. As it stands, I can’t recommend it.

Got this as a replacement for my i7+ after “poopocalypse” (those who know, know). This one has a feature to avoid accidents so that will never happen again. Great product!

Amazing vacuum recommend for everyday hime use. Wish I bought a long time ago.

Works great...a bit difficult to get started with mapping

So happy I purchased this Roomba. Replaced one that was about 8 years old, which was great, too. Like the self cleaning feature on this model.

Loved previous versions of the Roomba and getting replacement kit parts is so much easier for Roomba’s than for other brand robot vacuums.

so easy, avoids most things (threw around a toy racetrack) like power cords and most toys, navigates amazingly

I am impressed. It figured out and navigated around everything on it's own. The most impressive was under our bed. We have 8 small wood posts that support the mattress platform. It figured it out and got around all posts. My wife has long hair all over the floor and I was surprised it was wadded up around everything. There were just a few strands that pulled right out. Our cordless Shark looks more like a hairy whirly brush at a car wash, so I was pretty impressed this one didn't have hardly anything

Perfect sensitivity for wires and other items on the ground. Room mapping is fantasic. Takes about 1 hour to do an entire 1 bedroom apartment.

Bought it directly from the store. Nice addition to my techie collection.

Mapping is great, hard surface cleaning with two dogs is very good (not perfect) but carpet cleaning is impeccable!

I love my Roomba. We have a dog that sheds hair and I love knowing that I have the Roomba to keep my floors clean anytime I need it to.

We upgraded from the i7 to the j7. It’s got a better profile and blends in nicely. I also really like the LED light allowing it to work better in the dark.

With two dogs this was an excellent purchase. Works great on tile and carpet floors.

After only 5 months it is having issues with the battery, being sent a new battery through the manufacturer it lasted a day before the same issue. While their customer help is amazing the product having these issues so soon is leaving a sour note in my mouth

Works great & super easy setup! I love that it runs when I’m away at work and can come home to a clean floor!

Looking for a replacement for my 6 year old 980. This report was great and loved the camera feature. But after a week, I think it’s better suited for hard floors. The lack of turbo carpet boost really shows with pet hair. Going to return and try the s9. Not as many bells and whistles but it does have more power

Diligently tried to make this product work but couldn't. Over the course of 1+ month, I tried 3 different Roomba's. All 3 had different issues; error code 26, no camera recording (while mapping), and rolled into obstacles such as my dog when this specific model is supposed to identify pets. Interestingly, it did appear to vacuum when it wasn't experiencing a problem. However, the stop and go, mapping from scratch each time which easily takes close to 2 hours and does not vacuum while mapping (so you have to run it again to do the actual work after mapping), and the back and forth of buying and returning wore me out. I would like to find one that works well to clean pet hair! Reviews online suggested I was experiencing common problems the co. has yet to resolve successfully:(

Purchased 1-11-2025 and it's already broken. Per irobot they think the contact melted? Without a contact the roomba will not charge. Waiting to hear what they plan on dping so the roomba will charge.

So happy with this purchase. We got it to help with our lab’s hair that is everywhere! We run it almost every day and it does great! Is actually pretty quiet compared to the previous roomba that we had, that is until it’s on its base and emptying! That gets loud!!! But for the few seconds it does it, it’s not a big deal. The self emptying is also amazing, it truly is a set it and forget it kind of thing! It is on the expensive side but when it works this well I am ok with the price!
