Works well for a family of 6 and a long hair dog. Albeit I have to clean it frequently because the dog hair does tangle up the rollers/wheel. But handles more than I thought it would. Helps keep the house in a decent shape. We vacuum less since Roomy came but don’t expect a pristine home unless you are a techbro

Got this as a gift for my mother. She is a bit less mobile nowadays, and this was a perfect gift to keep her home clean and does not require her to move too much. Took a few times to program the map in the house, but once it was set, cleaning has been a breeze!

This is our second iRobot vacuum, but the older version actually seems smarter than this one. Yes it detects some cords and avoids objects, but that prevents it from doing a thorough cleaning of our space. The older model cleaned edges better because it went back around all of the perimeter at the end. The emptying is very loud when it returns back to the base and frequently gets clogged. The sensors for charging need to be cleaned frequently or it won’t charge on the base. I love that it will do some of my daily vacuuming, but I typically still need to get the Dyson out to finish the job.

Great at cleaning but charging station gives hard time. It does not always find home base and when it does it does not charge. I have to manually adjust it most of the time

This is a great robot vacuum. This is not my first iRobot vacuum. It does a great job cleaning and while it does make occasional contact with furniture it does so at a really slow speed. This reduces the risk of damage to the furniture. It also does a great job avoiding getting stuck on small obstacles left on the floor.

Vacume is handy and seemingly newest technology, sometimes has issues sealing itself and docking at the proper angle, have to manually adjust. But overall good product.

This machine is wonderful! I debated this purchase for awhile because of the cost. I have all hardwood and a dog that sheds year round. With my busy schedule it’s hard to keep up with the vacuuming. I run this every other day and it does a great job keeping the “tumble” fur away. If I miss a day, it does have trouble picking up the larger puffs of dog hair. The only thing I’ve had an issue with is linking it to my google home with voice commands. It refuses to activate with voice even though I can start it manually through google assistant. I’m two months in and love the fact I don’t have to drag out the vacuum. I’m debating on purchasing another for the second floor.

Our "Robbie" the robot vacuum does a great job keeping the floor clean. Easy to setup and use with the phone app. The automatic empty feature is great.

This is am excellent vacuum. It was easy to operate straight out of the box. It quickly mapped the house. It was easy to name each area if the home. It does a good job of avoiding furniture, walls and temporary objects in its path. Just hope the iRobot robomop gets upgraded to the level of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

So I’ve been using this robot for about a month. And I have to say it’s been great. I have mixed floors of short carpet and hardwood. It transitions over them nicely. Thick floor mats may give this a hard time. The robot will map out your house and you can set up rooms and boundaries. It will take pictures of obstacles and ask you to verify if they’re temporary or permanent so it can avoid them. It self empties after each job. That part can be a bit noisy for about 10 seconds. My only grip really. I haven’t seen this thing get stuck yet. It truly is smart. It will figure out how to get out. It’s a bit pricy but as they say you get what you pay for. I have 2 cats and one is long haired so it’s nice this thing does the work so I can watch TV or do something more relaxing. This thing has been worth every dollar.

Great vacuum! Once it fully mapped out my home it’s been working like a dream! It saves me so much time on housework. It gets under the beds and other furniture. It leaves my home looking like it’s been professionally cleaned. The fact that it also empties It’s own bag is a huge plus! I have a lot of square footage to vacuum because I have a reach styled home so it takes it about 2.5 hours to do everywhere because it has to go back home to charge for about an hour before it cleans the other half of the house. The only thing that I wish they would improve is the amount of noise it makes when it empties it’s bin. Otherwise, the vacuum itself is extremely quiet! You can’t even tell it’s running most of the time. When it’s cleaning hardwood floors it makes a little more noise than it does when it cleans the carpets. There’s virtually no noise at all on carpet.

I originally had the i8+, it broke and they decided to discontinue the product. So i ended up with what i thought was the lower model but it is so much better. It mapped out the same but i have not had one issue with it since i have been using it.

Awesome! cleans great and not having to empty it all the time is so much more convenient than our old one. The bag seems to hold months worth of dirt. The camera on the unit seems to help it get around much better.

It works very well if you take care of it and do the reviews on the app so it gets a better idea for the layout of your house.

Does a good job cleaning. Make sure you keep the front sensor clean otherwise you’ll have problems with it docking.

Product was very easy to use and it does a great job!

Fantastic little machine. We have a hardwood floor and lots of pets that like to shed. We had to sweep constantly. Running this once a day has saved us a lot of time and energy. The app is also really easy to use, and the mapping features and commands work really well.

Works better than I expected. We moved into a bigger house with a combination of rugs, carpet, and wood and have kids in and out all the time. Don’t be discouraged by the mess it makes when it does the initial mapping. It doesn’t do any vacuuming at that time and just drags stuff around. After the initial mapping it does a nice job. It’s important though that you practice good floor clutter hygiene though. Shoelaces, cat toys, cords, bags, clothes- all this loose stuff can create problems for roomba. We tidy up before running roomba and it’s done well. Once it got stuck on a room threshold, and one other time it tried to eat two cat toys, so it didn’t do well there. Otherwise it’s actually pretty impressive. The crop circles on the carpet are amazing!

We love our Roomba. It is a little louder than we were wanting, but overall it keeps up with our two dogs and our newly planted back yard mess. The self empty feature is what we bought it for and honestly I wouldn’t go with any other choice.
