A little loud but gets the job done reccomend for an all tile floor

Works great and doesn’t bang up the walls. Also goes around cords, etc

Love my Rooma so far. She can be temperamental sometimes and I wonder at times if I need to remap her as she runs into things and gets lost sometimes, but overall I’m very pleased with this product. Would recommend.

Vacuums very well. My only qualm is when the robot goes back to its docking site sometimes it doesn’t latch correctly and doesn’t charge for the next round of cleaning. I purchased 2 of these and have this problem with both.

I’ve had this Roomba for over a year now and it has been fantastic since we got it. Having your floors being cleaned by an automated system and it emptying itself is a great automated home feature. Haven’t had to sweep or vacuum my floor in over a year. Highly recommended.

Great vacuum. With two cats we run the vac daily. You do have to do leg work and clean it weekly but it's a great purchase.

It works very well if you take care of it and do the reviews on the app so it gets a better idea for the layout of your house.

Solid overall robot vacuum. Does an adequate job and makes it where we don't have to sweep near as much. Easy to setup and get it going around the house. Does sometimes get jammed with dog hair in the rollers, but not to bad.

It has been so helpful in keeping the carpet and floors cleaner than before. It has a little of hard time with some dog fur but it has been a great buy!

Works great but havent even had a year yet and had to replace the motor for the side brush. Luckily it was still in warranty so it was free to get replaced. It works great for our house with 4 big dogs.

The new version has been extremely useful and picks up dog hair easily and empties it without needing me. Charges and restarts where it left off

Intelligent little vacuum is easy to schedule and cleans well. Self emptying after each use. Vwry pleased with this purchase.

Love the app, cleans well, takes pictures and avoids obstacles (except those low to the ground that it may mistake as a rug - like a dogs lick mat or the “snow” under the tree).

It works pretty well. It just takes about 8 hours to vacuum our 1500 sq. ft home with two recharges. Goes over the same areas over and over again while many times missing others completely. Manufacturer replaced it for free when it was doing this the first time. But the replacement one has had mapping issues as well now.

The iRobot J7 is a wonderful robot to have working around the house. It’s one of iRobots smartest vacuums and has a lot of talent when it comes to cleaning the house thoroughly, and precisely. I really do love this robot. But, let me just say this, because there is more to this story. I do have a Shark. I own the Vertex and that vacuum is the BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned!!! It does anything and everything I need and want. But during the week, however, between a dog, cooking and having guests over, I maybe am able to vacuum once. If I’m lucky. I do have a smaller house, but I have a lot of furniture and dog toys everywhere all the time. And the J7, at least mine, which I’ve named R, manages to get around to all of it. The biggest feature I like about this robot is the no go zones and cleaning zones that can be set up in iRobot’s app. It works amazingly. For example, I don’t like R going anywhere near water. So I have my entire bathroom blocked off. R also takes pictures of anything it sees that can potentially be a obstacle (like dog toys) and sends it to my phone where I can decide if it’s temporary or if it’s a space in my house where I don’t want R to go. Setting up times when I want R to clean is also helpful, as I can be at work doing my thing, and R can be at home doing it’s thing. The self-emptying bin is also a huge plus. It does as the name suggests and I would not recommend buying this vacuum with out it. R also will get updates over time to improve it’s avoidance skills and receive more features. So it’s constantly getting better. As for downsides, I really haven’t had anything to complain about. Most of the reviews I see seem to rely on this vacuum for all the vacuuming. Disclaimer: You CANNOT take iRobot seriously when they say you don’t need to worry about vacuuming for months at a time! That’s just not true and silly to believe. However, I won’t say that there’s no truth to this. R can clean pretty good. And although R can’t replace my Shark, which it’s not supposed to, at least I have another helping hand to keep up with the cleaning throughout the week. Or until I can do my normal vacuuming. I also feel that since I’ve had R, my allergies have been much better as there isn’t dirt being kicked back up in the air when my dog, or us humans are walking around. The biggest downside that I can think of would be the price. I did get the robot on sale for $200 off on Cyber Monday. But for normally being $850, that seems to be a lot, and I would not have gotten it if it weren’t for the savings. Overall, I’m very glad I got R. It works does work great and was designed very well. The band has had many years of experience with robots and seems to know what they are doing when it comes to this area of expertise. The only thing I can suggest is weigh whether you need it or not. What is your situation? Would it benefit you to have it? To own a robot vacuum you need to take a lot of things into consideration. I hope this review will help you decide!

Really like the room a j7+, removed a star for room a customer service. Had bought a different model that didn’t want to work right, contacting their immediate support they just passed me off right away to tech support, why have me waste someone else’s time then just give me the right contact. Then was told to either repair or replace, was 2 days old so opted to replace with a higher level model.

Extremely useful and convenient. It knows how to avoid obstacles as described.

So far really good, excellent suction power, love it because it does its work for pet hair.

Tore my left quad tendon in March, and I'm responsible for most of the heavy (vacuuming/moping, etc.) housework duties... oh, we also added a 'fur-shedding' cat to our household, a year prior. Purchasing a Roomba was something I resisted before, so after doing a bit of research, I realized that the J7+ is rated one the top 3 choices of advanced robot vacuum tech. After mapping and programming cleaning cycles, this amazing robot vacuum became my next best friend. I can't believe how efficient it is: the app shares comments about maximizing its cleaning ability, provides full maps of the 1st floor, (where it's located) updates on status of filters/brushes... and more! The J7+ is perfect for the household on the go, (or mend) and I can literally state that it has been a life/stress saver from day one!

I loved this robot so much that I’m getting another one for my 2nd floor. I’m tired of the old roomba twisting charging cables and curtains in its rollers
