Seriously the best little robot vacuum. Definitely helps keep the dog hair down. Really does well with multiple surfaces.

leaves pet hair rolls on carpet, does not auto empty when bin is fill as pet hair falls out of bin, does not recognize keep out zones. My roborock s5 max blows this non sucking vacuum out of water, very very poor performance for 600 dollars. I'm returning this in a few days extremely disappointed with this not sure why all the high reviews on this the suction power is so low they don't even advertise it. even after it auto empty's there's still dirt and debris inside the bin and all over the exhaust port. I have less than 1200 sqft and its 85% tile this robot cant even vacuum the house with out returning to recharge. Don't believe the hyped reviews this thing is a poor excuse for a robot vacuum.

Does a pretty good job It does go under furniture where I would have to move furniture around to vacuum.

Set it and forget it, no issues so far very little, once in a while she gets stuck but she let us know.

This model works better than the original. The front facing camera make a huge difference. Also, this model is very quiet!

This Robotic vacuum/mop works great. They have come a long way since the early models.

Takes some time to learn how to use it. Does a good job but will do a manual vacuum periodically.

Full control-hands off. Good for multi-floor homes or when you need to individually do rooms one at a time or in groups. The self unloading is a good convenience. Transitions fine from hardwood to carpet to area rugs and even bathroom mats. Recognizes and takes pictures of obstacles to learn the environment or temporary items. Can schedule times and routines if needed. Value will be worth it if it can last more than one year.

IRobot programming ensures that Roomba reaches all sections of a room no matter what new obstruction it must negotiate. Cleaning is quite thorough.

I bit the bullet and upgraded from a dumb robot vacuum (ecovacs N7) to this smart robot vacuum because it was on sale for $200 off MSRP. Three months later and I've been completely satisfied with the upgrade. Thanks to the mapping feature on the J7 I was able to replace 2 existing vacuums and know that my entire upstairs got cleaned. The old vacuum would get stuck in a room because it couldn't find the door and keep cleaning the same area till it ran out of power. The self emptying dust bin is a great time saver and means less maintenance each week. The sensors and programming are much better at keeping the J7 from getting stuck and having to be rescued. I'm not thrilled about sharing my floorplan and cleaning schedules with iRobot, or any company. The roombas are very expensive. Even more expensive if you have multiple floors and need daily cleaning in all areas and have to get multiple vacuums. It's brushes will leave a few little twists of felted up hair behind if you have pets, long hair, or both so it's not a pristine clean unless you have it do a deep clean every time. However, I am more than willing to deal with those negatives for all the benefits that this robot vacuum offers over my old robot vacuums. If you want to see if a robot vacuum is for you I'd suggest getting a cheap one to try with for a year or two. No robot vacuum is perfect or capable of competing with a traditional vacuum. If you can accept the compromises though and find them beneficial then I would highly recommend getting this model when it's on sale. I can't say if it's really worth it over other models at the full MSRP though.

Suction is above normal! Battery last a good amount of time! Easy to set up!

For daily touch ups and keeping general dog hair (NOT HUSKY DOUBLE COAT) under control. Works on carpet and laminate. My kitchen baseboards are clean. I moved it because emptying to the bin is LOUD, but now I cant get it to charge. I know its something I may have done or uneven floors. I had it running through the kitchen and living room daily, and other rooms 2x a week. Emptying the bag from the bin is easy. It will run up to 45 mins then die wherever it is, and it becomes wheres waldo. I really do love it, even though the vacuum compartment on the robot fills quickly for us, and needs to be emptied a couple of times a week for larger wrappers from my son. Beats pulling out the big vacuum! It is expensive, though.

Cleans up light dirt and pet hair. Not as loud as the previous roomba

Works as advertised! I'm not sure when it will be as heavily discounted as it was on the day I bought it (total cost was $280 or so). It does a really good job of avoiding things. In three weeks of regular vacuuming it has only been stuck twice.

I have two Aussies and a cat. love that I no longer have to empty every time it doesn’t get stuck often, which is nice however it does leave clumps hair on the shag carpet,

That little robot is kind of cute, does a decent job WHEN it's actually able to do the job....It is very finicky, loses wi-fi signal easily (although we have a mesh around the house), and will keep getting stuck on a sliding door edge even if you made a "no access" zone for it in the software program. Very sensitive.

We are delighted with this machine. It learned our home quickly and now cleans the floors thee times a week.

Surprised how well it works! Got this for my wife for Christmas and we love it. I was skeptical at how well it would clean, but I was wrong.
