The j7+ is actually one of the best roomba options for cat hair, period. The new ones do t necessarily do better and cost a lot more....

We have two j7+ and one i7+ and would highly recommend these to anyone. Our home is vacuumed every single day, and sometime I run them a second or third time. This is great for someone like me that has to have a clean house 24/7

Cleaned under bed very nicely...didn't realize how much dust collected there! Easy maintenance so far. Leaves some wheel marks on carpet that I don't like, but I'll get use to it. My arms, back, and knees say thanks Roomba!

Good vacuum, but a bit loud at times.

When docked and cleaning the vacuum it makes a lot of noise. It “de-fuzzed” our new area rugs, but left the fuzz beside the rugs. Although that only happened the first time it ran.
