Excellent robot vacuum overall. Only issue has been that it has had some issues with getting stuck on our bar stools that we have around our dining table. Other than that it does a great job, mapped out our house quickly and does well on the schedule we provided.

It is louder than I thought it would be, especially when emptying. Also, the battery doesnt last very long. Cleans well.

Pros; Great product! Beater bars don't clog with hair. Hair is shunted to ends and is easily removed weekly. Powerful over any surface. Voice control is nice. Self empty feature is outstanding! Takes photos of obstacles for review. Cons; No manual included. Confusing set up. App needs to be simplified.

Worst Roomba I've ever owned. I purchased this back in Dec 2021 to replace an older Roomba. The previous Roomba worked great and rarely had issues for the four years we owned it. I thought the newer one would be just as good, but within the first couple of months it would stop right in front of the charging base, or get stuck in areas the previous model never did. I had to reset the Roomba several times (and remap the whole house again). The issues only got worse to the point the Roomba would only make it back to the docking station ever other time it ran. Since I had my mop set to run after, it would repeatedly fail to mop as well. I've reached out to Roomba and they would just keep having me reset the Roomba and start over each time. I spent hours dealing with support that just kept pushing me to do the same things until finally they no longer supported the product. I still have a Roomba that has many more hours and is at least 6 years old that still runs. This newer, more expensive model is absolute junk!

Had to remap the house 4 times….custom maps simply disappear. Request for app upgrade almost every time I use it. If layout is mapped, works fairly well.

The Robot Roomba j7+ is amazing! I love the fact that you can launch it from anywhere and come home to clean floors. All parts have easy access for cleaning. I love the having the vacuum bag. A necessity if you have a pug.

Performs very well on carpet and hard flooring even with pet hair. Does not pick up all the pet hair on some area rugs but is acceptable for general cleaning. Maps the house well and quite efficient with its cleaning.

Love it great vacuum convenient self disposal dirt.

The J7 was my third iRobot, and while it performed well initially, it stopped working after just two months. Unlike my previous iRobots, this one would often stop in the middle of a room despite having a full battery. I frequently had to search for it and manually press the button to get it to resume cleaning. The final straw was a persistent software update issue. I followed all the troubleshooting steps like resetting it as instructed, unplugging it, checking my Wi-Fi, and ensuring it was properly docked, but nothing worked for weeks. Ultimately, I had to return it because I couldn’t get it to function again.

Highly recommend, connects to google smart home to control with voice. Extremely easy set up and the prices now are a great value.

It’s ok.. I have to use my phone app to work better in vacuuming the correct area and it’s very loud when emptying..

I am not in love the j7+. I find it hard to program to do separate rooms. I went through a period where it was going in circles and losing it's mind. I finally whacked the bumper hard a few times after already taking it apart to see if something was wrong and after that it worked. If it gets under a kitchen chair it can't find its way out. The program doesn't show that the rooms have been cleaned. I don't know, maybe I need to start over from ground zero. Seems to clean well what it does clean.

Worked great for first two months. Has been inconsistent since. Does not reliably charge. Battery life was approx 45 min at best. Takes 5 hrs to vacuum upstairs and charge. Am returning to Geek Squad due to failure to charge for second time.

My wife loves this machine. Never really thought about one until i bought it for her as a christmas present.

Doesnt charge at times Robot needs to be propped to charge properly

Love our iRobot, but even more I love the customer service. I needed to call customer service. They talked me through my problem and made me feel more secure using “Walter”. He does a great job, I can’t believe how nice the carpet looks after he had done his job.

Finally a vacuum that does what it says. Took me following it around for a few to map the house, it only gets better after that. It learns and does a fanatic job. Got on sale and totally worth it.
