So far, so good. I love the Roomba J7. Our former Roomba i7 had to be trashed because it rolled over my dog's gigantic poop and spread it all over my house & poop was in every crevice of the old roomba. We bought the J7 because it says it has: "P.O.O.P. (Pet Owner Official Promise)* means your Roomba® j7+ robot vacuum will steer clear of your pet’s waste as it gets down to its own business. If it doesn’t, we'll replace your robot for free." I love that the J7 will send my phone a picture/video of anything that is on the floor and will not get tangled in the wires behind the t.v. area. Love it. Knock on wood, no more poop-tastrophies.

This bot has mediocre suction. It misses a lot of crumbs and grit on my kitchen floor. Plus, it has trouble getting onto my throw rugs. And it bangs pretty hard against baseboards and furniture legs. On the plus side, it is very good at maneuvering around obstacles. It has not yet gotten stuck or trapped, and it always finds its way back to its little bunkhouse. I don't think the j7+ is worth its high price, so I'll probably return it.

Just purchase it and. starting to love it! This is saving me very valuable time

The biggest reason I bought this instead of other robot vacuum's is the dog poop detection. I have 2 large dogs who are good, but there is still the occasional "present" when we get home from work. I did not want a disaster to happen! The mapping process inst perfect and took some time to get it to map the house (mostly) properly. It does a good job of going over transitions between different floors. The vacuum has some nice features like being able to set no-go zones or cleaning zones for smaller areas. The suction isn't as strong as some others I've heard, and I believe that, but it still does a pretty good job. I have 2- Alaskan Malamutes and the amount they shed in a day would tax any vacuum, having the Roomba lets me get away with only having to do a real vacuuming once a week.

Set up was easy. First run maps your floors. Thereafter can set up to vacuum all floors or program to vacuums separate rooms. Does nice job on carpets (no pets), Also j7+ is easy to clean and maintain.

Really loving this Roomba J7+ with bonus bin. I had a simple bump Roomba that just didn't do the job on my home. This one maps out my entire vacuum area and cleans twice a week on my schedule. Couldn't be happier!

Much more efficient than the original version. A little noisy when it discharges the contents but it overall does a great job picking up.

I do not recommend a Roomba. This has been an expensive headache and a huge disappointment. The guarantee to avoid pet mess is a joke; do not be fooled. The battery won’t hold a charge and will ultimately require a unit replacement which becomes a rinse and repeat issue. The idea is great but the actual result will require you searching for whoever the Roomba died (assuming it actually works that day) and then you’ll still be vacumming the old fashion way. Save your money.

The iRobot Roomba is amazing! It makes cleaning a breeze. It glides effortlessly throughout the house, picking up everything in its path, from crumbs to pet hair. It's great how it can maneuver around furniture and doesn't get stuck on carpets.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I received this as a gift in in January and It has never worked right. Doesn't make it back to the charger, won't charge, throws constant errors, loses wifi connection ...i spend more time tyring to get this thing to work each time I want it to run than it takes up actually vacuum my floor. Save your money and your sanity.

I have an older model that I think does better, this one gets stuck very often and needs cleaning/assistance way more than my other one.

Love the fact that this is one chore off my list! With the entire house being wood floors, it’s sometime difficult to get all the dirt since you can’t really see it until the bottom of your socks are dirty. A couple of wishes. This machine does a great job in cleaning especially under furniture. Bumpers! This machine bumps onto to furniture hard. I had to order bumpers from Amazon since iRobot does not provide this accessory. Second, when you pick up the machine, some dirt spills out.

Works great on hard floor surfaces but not so well on carpet. Keeps up with our mini Aussie and that’s all that we really wanted.

Great vacuum. Cleans and empties as described. Would recommend.

This is a quality product that has some very nice features and does a good job for the most part cleaning our floors. We have two large dogs and it does a good job cleaning up and keeping the dog hair manageable in the house. My only concerns are that we have one room with a thicker area rug in it, and the unit has a tendancy to get hung up on the edges of it. Also, it takes a while for the unit to clean our house and can be a little distracting if you are there during this time.

This robot does everything that my roomba i7+ did but better. The built in detection of obstacles and avoidance is top notch. I’m really glad I gave this roomba a chance because they got everything right this time. It takes pictures of things it avoided and has you review so you can teach it what to do on the next encounter. It has yet to fail at doing its job and returning for charging. My i7 would regularly get stuck and just give up. I would have to hunt it down with a dead battery the next morning. This robot avoids the pitfalls and doesn’t get into trouble. If it’s your 1st, lucky you. You will never know the headaches of the older models. If you are considering an upgrade, do it. This is a solid robot.

it works! (assuming amazon web services is up:) ). it took two complete passes to learn the house, and make a map. Found the user interface of the app to be not as user friendly as I would like. subsequent passes resulted in identification of obstacles and allowed me to dismiss them as temporary or add them as permanent, or ignore. great for cat toys. the first couple of passes our two cats were all over it sniffing and looking. now they pretty much ignore it. Even emptying the bin, which is loud, doesn't phase them.

This was my first Roomba product, and so far it’s been a cool experience. When we circle back with our stain it doesn’t find much, as the hockey puck is pretty thorough. Only thing outside of its control is corners and edges of floor to wall. The only reason I would give it a 4 is it has some airhead moments from time to time and will get stuck. He also tried to climb and throw himself off a pile of laundry once. Overall though this is rare, and when it works it works well
