Quick setup, quick connection to Wifi. I have a Golden Retriever. Doesn't pick up a lot of the dog hair. It cleans the Vinyl floors great but leaves lumps of dog hair on the carpets. This means I have to pull out my cordless vacuum and clean the carpets afterwards. So, why do it twice? I'll just use my cordless vac and save a lot of time. By the time I move the chairs, move dog toys, move shoes, close doors; in other words I need to prep the house for the robot. I can take me 10-15 minutes to do it with the cordless and it takes 1 hour for the robot. So after the robot is done (1Hr) it takes me an extra 10 minutes to clean the leftover hair on the rugs. Here is a picture of what I cleaned up AFTER the robot cleaned. BTW, I vacuum every day with the cordless vac so my home is not a wreck, its clean. WHY WASTE THE TIME AND MONEY.

We've had a Roomba for as long as we can remember - after the old Roomba would get caught up on loose cables and other debris, we did some research to see if there's any object-avoidance options -- sure enough, the j7+ was there! Significantly more effective than our older model (~8 years old?). Quieter operation -- but, be warned, the j7+ is EXTREMELY loud when it empties the Roomba contents into the self-emptying receptacle. Shockingly loud really.

My wife love it, she had an older version and it wasn't doing good anymore. She named it and love's being able to use her phone and turn it on.

So far it's been as advertised with obstacle avoidance. The mapping took a few more passes than I would have liked, but I'd rather have that than dog messes all over. All in all it's worked well so far. Probably wouldn't have gone for it if it weren't on sale when I grabbed it, but it's still nice to have

Bought this for our new home and for my wife’s first mother’s day. It helps with maintaining the fur that my dog sheds.

Excellent product. Maps the home really well and then thoroughly cleans.

I purchased this to replace a shark. I have 2 dogs, a German Shepard and a Sheltie. This seems to do a little better job with dog hair but is very noisy especially when emptying itself. It does a decent job of learning and avoiding obstacles.

This model only vacuums and for the price you can get models from other manufacturers that do vacuum, mop, auto empty and mop wash. It bumps into everything to the point it actually moves my sonos subs. I ended up with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and couldn’t be happier.

Had to re map it 4 times a month now. Only cleans 1 room then goes home

I love this vac. Robot i set it and forget it and once a month change the bag. And clean the wheels and brushes.

Do NOT buy the iRobot brand! If you read carefully, you will notice that all of the good reviews are from customers that have had their vacuum/mop for less than a year, that is about all the time you will enjoy the convenience of this disposable crap. It is very convenient to have a working robot vacuum/mop, it’s like flying in first class, once you’ve done it, it’s very difficult to not have it again, I’m just saying, spend some time researching the best products, almost none of them will recommend this unit, and once your 1 year warranty is over, you are out of luck - They will offer you $100 credit towards another piece of crap. So far, my Roborock is far superior!

I just received today and have setup with no issues. Great improvement to my 600 series. Still learning the square footage. BUT OMG reviews weren’t kidding when they said it’s LOUD when emptying the dirt to bin. Sounds like an airplane landing in my dining room.

This Roomba does an excellent job! When it self empties it is very loud but I don’t have to empty the vacuum so it’s not all bad.

Cleans well, but has constant annoying issues. It mapped the house well enough, but then when it cleans it occasionally misses entire areas of the map- even after rebooting. Deleting the map and sending on a mapping run generates the same map. It'll clean well for a couple days, then start skipping half of a room again. Constantly has issues on the dock - I clean the charging contacts and dust bin, but then it says it can't charge, or check the bin sensor just a couple days later. A few specks of dust should not affect a vacuum this much - it's a vacuum, it'll get dirty. If I had this to do over again, I would have paid more and bought a Roborock.
