At first when it was learning my rooms, the iRobot was all over the place and it seems to run on the loud side. After the learning process, I ran the cleaning program. It did run as long. I have a dog, so the iRobot had to empty 3 times but also had to go get recharged 2 times. I still have to use my vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean floor n rugs. The iRobot does help me keep most of dust and hair off floor. But I was under the impression that it would clean much better than it does.

I love this Roomba. It's easy to program and does a great job of cleaning my floors. The automatic dirt disposal makes it sound like a rocket is taking off, but it's a great feature to have. Prior to purchasing this Roomba, I had a Neato robot vacuum, and I must say I much prefer this Roomba to the Neato because the round shape of the Roomba doesn't scuff up my baseboards and furniture like the Neato did. The compact style of this product is also a big plus.

Does a decent job considering the 5 cats running around. Battery life could be longer. Typically charges twice before finishing the job. On carpets I see some dust bunnies left behind. This is better suited for hardwood floors. Mapping is a little wonky. Doesn't seem to follow a consistent path on subsequent runs. Seeems like it misses spots sometimes. Would not pay the current $799 price but the pre-Christmas $359 made this an ok purchase.

I recently purchased the iRobot Roomba j7+ (7550), and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This robot vacuum has truly transformed my cleaning routine. Compared to other brands, like Shark, the Roomba j7+ stands out for its efficiency and reliability. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a smart, hassle-free cleaning solution. It’s been a fantastic addition to my home!

Robert the Roomba has been doing a great job for us for over a year. The app is easy to use and scheduling automatic jobs in certain areas of the house while at work is a breeze to the point we forget that we have one except the floors stay vacuumed without much extra work. The internal bag fills up quick since there are two cats and a golden retriever in the house but that's to be expected. Awesome product, definitely recommend!

Robo as well call it does the job as advertised. It has tried to attack various family members as it stalks through the house. I usually call for my vicious attack cats and dog to protect me. Great entertainment for the family and it keeps the floor pretty clean.

Works good, at almost 2 years the battery doesnt seem to keep a charge the whole time. Wished it had lots more suction power when vacuuming. Offer all it saves lots of time.

I absolutely love the j7+! I debated on spending the extra money for the feature of avoiding obstacles and I am so glad that I did. I had the original Roomba and it was always getting stuck under things...no more! Plus we have dogs so the dirt bin is a must. The Roomba j7+ maps out the house and sends me reports with pictures of obstacles so I can determine if it's temporary or set a stay out zone. A little scary of how smart it is but I absolutely love it!

Absolutely love our Roomba. Especially now that we/I don’t have to empty the waste ourselves. The vacuum is quite loud but the trade off is worth the noise that only lasts about 5 seconds. I was able to find reusable bags online instead of one time use. The use of labeling the map is wonderful and able to schedule specific locations in the house has been very helpful. Have been hesitant to use the Live Photo option when it gets stuck, I don’t want to have a second party app. Would recommend!

Exceptional upgrade to earlier models in iRobot series. Dramatically quieter, much enhanced mapping and obstacle avoidance. Offloading of dust bin to longer term disposal cycle is efficient, and most appreciated when unit is used several times a week. With three j7+ units, one on each floor of my home, virtually all of my accessible floor space, carpet, tile and wood, is kept constantly cleaned with virtually no intervention or skipped spots.

Cleans very well and learns to avoid areas. App is easy to use, suction is good and the intergrated maintenance minder is a reue plus.

I really like it. The app is easy to use and set up and doesn’t really good job cleaning up. I’m glad I got it. It helps a ton.

First time buying a robot vacuum and I can say by now I won’t go back to regular vacuum again. My floors have never been so clean. Robbie (my iRobot) will do the job while I’m eating breakfast, working at my desk or while I’m busy doing something else. At first it was a little complicated to understand how the robot works and it takes a few first vacuums to the robot learn your space and do a good job. I’ve been using for almost two months and I can’t imagine having a regular vacuum again. Totally worth the investment.

If you are on the fence about this little guy, but you find yourself in the spot to get it… GET IT. My wife and I keep a pretty tidy home even with two medium size dogs (who mostly shed they don’t mess in the house so I have no advice for that thankfully), but having the Roomba to run once a week still makes a huge difference. It is really nice sometimes to just open the app, and send the Roomba on a mission instead of vacuuming… AGAIN (lol). It’s a small break, but just that little reprieve, that little breather, makes a big difference. As far as function I am really pleased with how well it gets around. We just moved so there are packed boxes and obstacles everywhere, but it finds its way around just fine. Also I have never had carpet before moving into this new place, but the Roomba seems to handle it just fine - actually better than fine. The j7+ puts these perfect lines in your carpet that just make the home feel cleaner (and impresses guests for some reason which was a happy bonus). The Roomba can climb over any trim that you may be worried about. It does bump into EVERYTHING while trying to learn your space, so don’t let that alarm you. Mine hasn’t beat its brains out yet it seems to be doing just fine. It will knock things over though so don’t run it in the middle of the night because leaning brooms and signs parked on the floor waiting to be hung will come crashing over and you’ll think there is an intruder (lol). It is also very loud when it empties itself so don’t let that alarm you either. That isn’t a con for me, I just like letting people know because it will surprise them and their guests. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. It reminds me of when I was on the fence about my smart watch. Before I got it I had no clue what the heck I would need something like that for…. Now that I have it though? Well I can’t imagine life without it.

I bought this for my parents as a gift. They are elderly and are struggling to keep up with the house cleaning chores. It was super easy to set up. Right out of the box we downloaded the app, connected to it and started it on its way mapping the house. It ran for quite a while with the charge it came with. When it ran low, it took itself right back to the base, paused the mapping and started charging. Once charged, it came back out and finished its duties! I’m so jealous I now want one for myself!

Really nice for picking up the garbage and saving time.

Upgraded from an old model. The old one wasn’t that smart and bumped into everything, ate up anything that got in the way, and moved randomly around the house. They’ve dine a great job of upgrading the Roomba to be smarter and respond to what it’s coming up to. Now it notices when it’s coming up to objects and slows down to get close but not smash into furniture. It’s also much better about if a cord or something similar is on the floor and will avoid it completely. I’m much less worried about having it run when away because it doesn’t feel like it needs to be watched. The only downside, when the roomba empties the bin into the stand, it sounds like a jet taking off. It’s only a minute at the end of it’s cycle but it’s crazy loud. I also noticed the battery goes down pretty quickly but it will return to the charger and finish up later. I’m not a big fan of a robot mapping my home but it does make it work more consistently vs the random bouncing around the old one used to do.

Cleans downstairs and helps so we arent sweeping a couple of times a day. It takes a little to get used to with their app alerts and learning how the machine will take the terrain in your home. The pup is funny around it but he is funny about everything. No regrets
