This only lasted 2 years

I purchased the 2years extended warranty with best buy. then 2 months after this expired, it started with a intermittent beep noise and didn’t work anymore. I went to Best Buy for an exchange or fix… the response was (after even talking to the general manager of the store), that they could not exchange or repair it (not even if I paid for the repair). So I fell very frustrated and don’t think it is worth to pay 1000USD for something that doesn’t last.
