it did not work from day 1, we get error 31, hopefully I robot sends a new one

got this product the next day was 400 less online store would not do the price match last item will ever buy from here

Came defective. “ERROR 21” which requires iRobot to send a new one.

This item does not work great on porcelain floors.

Does what’s it’s supposed to do but not worth the price. The roomba works pretty well but still have to pick up and move things around while it vacuums. The braava jet is not used as much because it’s always getting stuck in rooms and I don’t feel like it mops that well, even things that should be easy to clean it still stays. I wish both would share a map but they don’t. I almost rather used my Dyson to vacuum which is much faster to do. I guess the room a and braava can be used if you don’t feel like vacuuming yourself but you may still encounter issues where you’ll need to move it if it gets stuck.

I got this as a Christmas present in 2021 it’s now June of 2022 so I’ve had more then enough time to think about this review . For starters , the original mapping of the house was very annoying. It wouldn’t detect my carpet in my hall way so I eventually had to just take it out . After the mapping was all done the roomba gets stuck , can’t even complete a full vacuum in one charge the battery life is terrible . It’s SUPER loud , there’s just constantly problems with this robot . It’s a scam that my hubby bought it for $1,000 and now it’s on sale for $700 we should be able to get that money back . I would’ve returned it but by the time I figured out how much I hated it it was too late to return . Save your money . This robot is a piece of expensive junk .

Bought it in 2020. It still works very well. It saves me a lot of time in cleaning my home.

Best Money EVER Spent. I have a Roomba upstairs for carpet that I adore and have had a braava 200 series downstairs for the tile that I ran endlessly. I decided to get a vacuum/mop machine on sale at Target of another brand... huge mistake. Returned that and bit the bullet for this combo. It's the Mac Daddy for sure. My entire downstairs is tile. I have them programmed to run every morning (later on the weekends) The roomba runs then tells the braava to run. The roomba is louder than previous models but it has a bigger motor, I'm guessing, because the tile is CLEAN and makes a crazy loud few seconds noise to deposit the dirt into the canister once it docks, thus the later weekend setting lol. Because I run them every day, before bed I change the mop pad and check the water tank every night, takes 2 mins. I have a pup that pees in the Kitchen randomly so I even have a program to mop "Just the Kitchen". I freaking love these things and couldn't be happier I spent the big money.

I love the fact that I leave the house and when I come back, the floor is clean. I have dogs, so the vacuum component is needs to be strong and sturdy. This one is.

It's a good vaccum. Compare i9 to i7+, I still like the i7+ better. I9 is powerful, but with louder suction noise, and because it more powerful, it gets stuck on house items more often. The i9 constantly get stuck on my delicate curtains and thicker center carpet, it literally trys too hard to continue onward, but when it realize oppps, it's too late to untangle itself. I would have to babysit everytime it vaccum to get it unstuck. My i7+ knows it capability, hardly gets jammed.

Being the flagship iRobot product I expected a machine that was better than my five year old existing iRobot. How I was wrong. The machine was defective from the minute I first turned it on making the loudest grinding noise, no way to use it while you are in your house as the noise overpowers everything. The mop on the other hand seems to work good but would be suited to wooden or mat floor tiles. I have glossy porcelain tiles and it leaves streak marks making the floor look dirtier than before. I purchased this machine in America, took it back to Australia. On contacting the Australian warranty service I was advised that it doesnt have an international warranty so they can’t help. Because the machine is now in Australia the USA warranty is void. Completely wasted my money on a machine that was sold defective, don’t waste yours. Read other people’s reviews and you will see this is not an isolated issue, just wish I had done the same.

Product has lots of potential but has some issues. Im on my 7th irobot device and unless something changes quickly, I will buy a competing brand. Feedback on the simplest terms - software is not good. For instance why save the map if the robot got stuck as soon as it left the dock or when you hit clean? Then you have to wait 5 minutes-ish for it to finish… wasted time becuse the robot has nothing new to save, it just makes you wait. Why does it take so long. Even with a dial up modem a simple map could transmit to the cloud in less than a second. 5 mins is not that long, but if your leaving the house and trying to get them going before you leave, its a long frustrating time. Also, the vac will not clobber any cable you pick up off the floor, otherwise it will, even though its not supposed to. Additionally, they are have cameras, use them to stay away from people or pets versus seemingly tracking you to make sure to get in the way.

Had this iRobot vacuum/mop set for 2 years now. Works fairly decent though still lacking intelligence. Even though I set zones for rugs, it kept wanting to get on the long pile rug and get stuck frequently. About 1 year after purchase, the mop wouldn’t connect to the mobile app which is necessary to access most features. After much troubleshooting I finally brought it to Best Buy for Total Tech service. They charged me $99 and then decided a few weeks after that they also needed the vacuum. Total Tech just called me and said they would issue store credit. Not sure if I will buy same again.

Greta product. Helps keep floors clean when I don’t have time to sweep or manually vacuum.

Not worth the money, I am so sad and disappointed. I had 7 errors in 30 minutes which meant issues were happening with the robot. It got stuck 3 times in one hour which meant it completely stopped till I had time to go look for it. It doesn’t get the particles in the edges. The battery died out after only cleaning my living room and kitchen mind you it was fully charged. I had done so much research on which robot to buy. I choose the S9+ But I am very dissatisfied. It’s too much money to have these types of problems. It’s going back :(

Very easy to use. Keeps home clean and the best in the marketplace.

Love it. With 2 dogs it is nice having the apartment vacuum daily while I’m out.
