A few months after purchase, iRobot replaced the “brains”. It just quit functioning. A few months after the replacement (which I suspect was a refurbished part), it began getting “stuck” in an open space 30 minutes after starting. It also repeatedly runs into furniture, leaving damage even em when using the setting to avoid objects. Absolute waste of nearly $1,000.

I had to replace this type twice. Both times it only lasted about a year. It works well when it works but doesn’t last long for the price.

Haven't had much luck with Roombas in the past but wanted to give the most expensive one a try. The things I really liked about the S9 was the mapping and self-emptying features. However, after a couple weeks of it working okay it began to never make it back to its base to charge. Then it started having issues charging even when I would place it on the base. When it would charge, I would have issues connecting it with my app so I returned it.

The best vacuum you can use to keep up with dogs, its so easy to use and I like that I can connect it through google and actually tell it to start cleaning

The iRobot S9+ is a great improvement from the IRobot S7+. Better mapping. The only issue that I have had with this product is loves to get stuck in areas after the mapping has been completed.

Easy to set up and map my home. Time will tell on how good it will do after several runs. But happy with my purchase.

We named our room a after the Jetsons’ robot maid. She does a great job on keeping our home clean. Great at getting u- cat hair. Great suction. Well pleased and would recommend this appliance.

So far so good. It seems to work. Has a few problems. Doesn't clean the whole floor. There are always spots where you have to move furniture, but if you get it set up then figure out a system to run it when you're out, it can save time!

Ingenius! Does a fantastic job of cleaning up! This version has the capability of mapping your house for you (first step). Then, you create cleaning zones and "keep out" zones. This is a vast improvement over the early Roomba models. Once your zones are created, you tell the robot to clean wherever YOU choose by way of the iRobot app. That's it! Walk away. The device handles pet hair, carpets and incidental obstructions with great ease. The Robot will tell you if he encounters a problem by way of your smart device. I wish i-Robot made a duster!

It works well but seems to sweep the same areas over and over again and it takes a very long time as a result. The area it’s sweeping is small with few obstacles. I’m giving 4 stars for the fact that it sweeps over the same spots repeatedly.

I'm still optimistic that the Roomba will learn our house layout, but it does not happen quickly. It still has trouble finding it's base even when right next to it. The cleaning is great, so as long as it gets better at navigating the house, then I'll be very happy with it.

The vacuum takes a while to learn the layout but once that is done it works automatically. The only problem I have is it will get stuck on throw rugs. We have to pick them up when we run it.

Works great, sucks up dust and most of my pet hair (I have many rescue dogs that she'd a lot) Keeps a charge and I like that it empties itself! One less thing for me to do, lol.

The very reason I got a rebels because I have dogs it was the best investment. I would definitely recommend this product if you have pets

I robot Roomba is amazing. My house floors are always clean. The only thing is that doesn’t do well on a small rugs, sometimes get stuck in the rugs, but if you remove the rugs it cleans perfect

Complete lifesaver! Cleans up everything. A little louder than we expected, but then again it is a vacuum. Overall a great buy.

The Irobot Roomba9s+ works great. Put it on a schedule and takes over the everyday dust. For a bigger house it does have to come back to the home base for a recharge. Works great.

It's super effective, cleans well and you can time and control the roomba via your device. It goes under the beds, sofa, table making it really effective and the corner brush too cleans the end very well.

The sweeping action is amazing. It will get up dirt. I bought this version as I wanted the Smart Maps feature. The mapping feature is a little lackluster. The Roomba needs to run through a few cycles to fully map out your floor/house. I didn't mind that part. What bothers me is how it gets around to the many parts of the floor. It doesn't seem like it knows where it's been or where it's going. The pattern it uses seems to change with each use, causing me to review the work it's done. In addition to having a random workflow, it will go over the same spot many times over. For example The Roomba will do part of the living room, do the entire dining room, then come back and do the whole living room.
