motion sensors hard to sync i got the camera as well and wifi router is too advanced for it so unable to install be ready to be patient and have some good hours to solve the issues

I've tried to like this. I read positive reviews and was enthusiastic when I purchased it. Out of the box, it worked fine. Until it didn't. That was such a short amount of time, too. Dropouts constantly. Now, when it does connect, I can arm it, open the door, and not a single beep. It doesn't even notice it's been tripped. I tried to get a self diagnosis for customer service... that won't work. Basically, I have paperweights masquerading as a security system.

Company is now out of business. Do not purchase there is no longer support

The software associated with this product doesn't work outside the US or Canada. I was very disappointed as very similar products doesn't have this issue. Also this is not mentioned in the case. The Customer Service response to this was you can sell it in ebay or Amazon as used, because they don't accept returns. So don't expect too much from them if you have any other issue.

I invested alot in this product and less then 3 months later the remote stopped working

Purchased two units could not get ether to work with our Asus router. Spent several hours setting up and researching possible solutions to no avail. Then spend two hours on phone with Ismart representative doing almost identical steps and still didn't work. Phone apps weak and steps not clear. When a step doesn't work there are not guides on what to do next or what to look for

Won't work on my android buts works great on my iPhone 6s

The system overall is good. The siren could be louder.

I have been an iSmart customer since they first got started. It started off a bumpy ride but it greatly improved with time. There is ZERO fees and I have found some pretty cool useful things to do with my extra sensors. i was able to put one in my mail box now every time my mail man delivers the mail I get push notifications. Besides some of the really cool stuff you can do with the system it's a great home protection device. You can keep a eye on your home while being away. The only complaints I have are the lack of new devices. The system could really use some new add ons. It would be nice to finally see a outdoor weatherproof security camera with a external IR so it don't refelct into the camera. Hopefully we will see some new add ons. Since the system has been out the only new add ons to hit the market has been the smart plug and the upgraded camera. Over all I have been very happy with iSmart. If you ever have a problem they get to helping you pretty fast.

My parents got this for me after sophomore year (this year) in college (Go Oregon State!). I'm moving out of the dorms, and moving into a house with a bunch of people (3 guys, 1 girl, and me). I don't like people touching my stuff, and even though I know most of the people moving in with me, I'm worried. I set it up at my folks house, and it's easy! They let me set it up (they have 1 too) so they could help, but I didn't need it. It's easy. The siren is LOUD! I can definitely scare people out my room (or at least now if someone is sneaking in while I'm in another part of the house). It took me like 6 minutes to set it, I just plugged it into my dad's junky router (never realized how much I appreciate dorm internet speed) and used my Samsung S4 and followed the easy instructions. I can change the countdowns and siren volume and other stuff, so I can play with it and get it exactly how I want it. I can make it go off immediately or have it wait and do a countdown (so if I forget to disarm it I have time). Next I'll probably get the iCamera KEEP (that's the camera they sell that I can control and pan-tilt and record video) and a Smart Switch to control lights or something. Maybe I'll get an aquarium I can control with it or something. Definitely loving this so far, can't wait to catch a roommate trying to take something from my room!

This is a playset that should have been sold at a toy store. Returned.

Without internet you have no alarm. Thas why I returned.

i have not had any trouble with alarm system ! very easy to install!! there app works great with iPhone. very easy for my whole family to use. if the alarm gets set off you get a call right away with a email and text. the best part there is not monthly fees!!!

The iSmartAlarm is an excellent system that provides homeowners with basic security protection with no monthly fees. As soon as the alarm is triggered, you receive a text alert as well as a phone call letting you know which sensor went off. I have yet to use the door sensors, but the included motion sensor works very well. If you have a large home, I would recommend purchasing a satellite siren (currently only available from iSmartAlarm's website) so you can hear the siren from all parts of the home. Overall, the system is a great value and very flexible for different needs.

I bought this system and initially just wanted to play with it. I found it is very easy to install and is very user friendly. I replaced my traditional security system with it and do not need to pay the monthly fee any more. I like this system.
