Only issue was that the adapter needs a power source aka a USB cable. Fortunately I had an extra laying around, but there was no cable included in the box. I don't remember the box saying anything about needing a USB cable which wasn't included. Otherwise functional

PS you may need to do some work in settings to get the additional monitor to work the way you want.

It is worth planning ahead and making sure you have the right adaptor to make your device work. This one is is not one of the common ones and glad Best Buy store near me had it.

Like many laptops these days, they are moving to HDMI and getting rid of VGA. Unfortunately, many accounts that I call on still have VGA hook-ups. This adapter is a must have for these types of situations.
