Returned it - didn't need it!

Discovered I didn't need it as the docking station I bought included the adapter I needed. I may need to plug the laptop I purchased into VGA project for work at some point, so I would certainly purchase this adapter again if I need it in the future!

Unit works very well when used with a power source

I did have to use a micro-USB cable to power the adapter as the power was too low to keep the Apple TV connected. The unit could not have been better I nce the power cable was connected.
