Needed this to use on an older Vizio tv with my Mac mini that has poor resolution with the hdmi only connection and attempted scaling.

Returned to store thinking it might be defective, but same result with 2nd product, so also returned. On the same note as this, do not waste your time calling j5 support. You can spend over an hour on the phone waiting for somebody only to have some voicemail come and tell you to leave a message. You leave a message, nobody returns your call. You govtovthe website and use the online chat, they don't offer support for that item and tell you to submit online. Did that, finally received an email saying "just return product to store". Strange thing was, actually got an email about a month later asking if I was satisfied with their support? Had no choice but to say " no" as they did nothing (not to mention despite advertising 24/7 support, never could reach anybody in a timely manner). Absolutely horrible customer service and product support on the part of j5.

The screen quality isn't that great, but maybe that is expected. I've tried changing settings on the monitor and laptop, but some of the drawings are really light colored in my Silhouette Cameo cutter so it is hard to see outlines \ cut lines..
