Posted .The Docking Station is a Plug and Play device, no driver required but the M1's are limited to only 1 display output. Posted .The JCD389 is a PnP device, no drivers needed. However, if you have a M1 chip, you will only be able to have one additional display. That is hardware limitation on M1 computers.

Posted .James, in the case where the JCD389 is not holding a solid connection, this could be due to a protective cover on the Mac impeding full insertion. If you have a cover, I recommend removing it and trying again. If the issue persists, I encourage you to please call in to speak with support to see what can be done. If deemed to be defective, we will gladly exchange it under the manufacturer's 2-year warranty.

Posted .Will, Experiencing instability when trying to use peripherals is inconvenient and we apologize. This could be due to a cover on the Mac impeding full insertion of the USB-C causing such performance, it could also be due to USB accessories requiring more power than what can be obtained via the dock. In order to arrow down the root of the issue, we recommend contacting the support team and an agent will be more than happy to diagnose, troubleshoot and offer solutions; if necessary an exchange will be offered under the manufacturer's warranty.
