Purchased for use with a Switch, won't charge

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use with my Nintendo Switch dock as I prefer a wired connection over wireless. As an ethernet adapter, it worked fine. But I noticed that controllers that were plugged into it didn't charge. So I'm guessing that it can't provide enough power as a hub to charge devices. I can live with that. but if you need charging too, look elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing your review on this hub. The ports on the hub are primarily designed for data transfer and not charging.

The j5 create is the perfect solution to this dilemma. No problems whatsoever installing the provided software onto my Windows 8.1 OS. I am very happy with the extra USB ports and the fact that they are all 3.0.

Newer laptops have fewer USB connections due to sleek designs and lighter weight. When you need more ports to connect additional devices- this is a great option.

Posted .Easily obtaining a faster, safer internet connection supporting up to 1 gigabyte speeds make up the JUH470, it's all in one architecture makes a handy device to have.
