Does exactly what it says it will do. HSD connection is nearly instant when you connect this to a router with cat 5 or cat 6 and USB 3. You can also connect it to a USB 3 hub and multiple computers can be connected at once if they are USB 3 capable, essentially replacing a Ethernet switch.

Was bought for a surface 3 and great for use as a hub and or with networking.

I bought a new laptop and although it is awesome, it is very limited on usb ports; it also does not have an Ethernet port. This attachment solves both problems. It was very easy to install, simply "plug and play with Windows 10

has three usb pass thru ports so you also gain 2 usb slots and has an AC in port if you want to take it on the go and not sacrifice performance to battery power consumption (not included) . sadly no usb C port but for under 40 bucks you cant go wrong with a quick fix to a no hard wiring option situation.

Great adapter for failed ethernet on desktop. Easy to install

I have only 2x USB 3.0 ports on my laptop making it difficult to use multiple things like a wireless mouse, microphone, camera, hard drive, etc. at the same time. This hub makes it easy enough to do everything I wanted but it will degrade my camera quality when I use the hub vs a stand alone port.

I needed it for multiple devices hookup and it serves my needs

A good device to use; however, it will require you to download drivers from the products website in order to use the Ethernet function. This I did not like, especially since it is from a Taiwanese company with unverifiable sources. However, if IS/IA is not a major concern this product is well worth the investment, tough design and efficiency

I am really impressed with its very nice design - metallic look. I did not install the software from the CD that comes with it. However, it still works perfectly right out of the box.

Wish it came with a power cord. But great product.

This comes in great if you can’t get Wi-Fi on your laptop and it does not have a built-in network connection. All the laptops these days do not have a standard network connection.

got what i needed an ethernet port with extra usb slots

My ethernet port on my Not So Old laptop started not holding ethernet connections anymore and even though the laptop is in warranty, shipping to manufacturers to fix was not a option. This USB connected ethernet/hub device serves both ethernet and having extra USB ports well.

I have had this now for a while and it has made my life much better. When my wifi goes down or is slow it keeps be at high speed. The extra 3 usb ports are also a great help.
