I was so glad to find one of these at my local Best Buy. These days many laptops don't have an Ethernet jack and inevitably I'll need to plug directly into a router or a NAS box or something. This works perfectly and it's not expensive.

I bought this as an accessory for my Surface Pro 4. It allows me to have a physical connection to my network, while also adding additional USB ports. I particularly like the fact that it has a built-in power option so you have a power supply for other USB devices. Including a card reader would have given it a 5 for me.

I use this with my Dell XPS when setting up modems & routers all the time. New Ultrabooks don't have Ethernet ports & even USB-A anymore so an adapter like this is a godsend.

I purchased the ethernet port for my wife who teaches online courses. She's had no issue with the device and appreciates the additional ports for more wireless device connectivity.

Bought this to use with a new Toshiba Ultra HD laptop since the new models have no Ethernet connectivity. This device allows me to use a hard Cat5 connection for security and gives me three extra USB connections in the bargain.

Read the details, purchased it & works great! If you have windows you don’t have to mess with downloading any software, it does it’s own install transparently! Great piece of gear!

Average quality and works okay. The main issue being that it heats up a lot. If you have frequent use, I doubt it will work for longer as overheating may kill the product

do not recommend this at all. requires a power cable to function. best buy doesn't sell the power cable. get the insignia version. no extra software needed with insignia.

Great accessory to have when an issue occurs with your wifi connectivity and the fix required internet access. The extra ports come in handy for accessories since my Surface tablet has limited input ports.

Having this available as an ethernet and 3-pot hub makes work so much easier when I am traveling. I can have one item for ethernet connection, camera downloads to computer, and two more usb ports available.

to use with USB hard drives, usually better to have AC power, but there was not an option for that (the unit can take an AC adaptor, but non was offered in the store). I purchased a best-buy branded AC converter with the help of a store employee, and it ended up not being compatible.

I was try to up load from a table, thinking the ether net would work better than wifi. there was not enough difference to warrant the money on the hub. I am sure it would be a great hub for a tecky person.

Although this hub may be a bit more money it more than makes up for that with the multiple flexibility it provides. Sales staff recommended and gave comparison... and very glad elected this one!

Great little gadget.... when I order my laptop and found out I had no Ethernet connection on it(should have read the fine print)... it hooked me up... plus additional USB ports which come in handy.

In order to get a wired connection to the router for 300 Mbs. I used this adapter since laptops no longer accept network cables. Worked very well and obtained full speed.

I have a razer blade stealth and it did not have a ethernet port. I bought this and the rest is history. the additional usb 3.0 was a plus since my RBS has only 2 usb 3.0 port.

I have had no issues yet with this product. Works really well. This is a must need when buying new laptops because the new laptops do not come with an ethernet port and not enough USB ports.

Very good hub. I use it to connect more than one thing to my laptop when needed. Have used it very often. Has worked very good.

Great product, does exactly what it says it does. I use it for my 2 in 1 which doesn't have a Ethernet option available. With this device it allows me to connect via Ethernet with ease.
