Purchased for use with a Switch, won't charge

As an ethernet adapter, it worked fine. But I noticed that controllers that were plugged into it didn't charge. So I'm guessing that it can't provide enough power as a hub to charge devices. I can live with that. but if you need charging too, look elsewhere.

The j5 create is the perfect solution to this dilemma. No problems whatsoever installing the provided software onto my Windows 8.1 OS. I am very happy with the extra USB ports and the fact that they are all 3.0.
