Serves the purpose but my work laptop gets heat up sometimes but probably due to an old model od Dell. Quality is perfect with no lag.

This works reasonably well for the price. It has one USB 3.0 on the input end, and then one HDMI 1080p and one HDMI 4K30 on the output end; I wish it had 4K60 out. I have not tried to use both HDMI ports at the same time, but I assume it would work. The reasons I knocked it down a few stars to only be average are: 1) After the initial install, it was really flaky (Win 10). It never asked me to reboot, but after doing a reboot it was much more stable from then on, even when I removed and later reinserted the device. 2) On occasion, the image completely freezes. When it does, the mouse pointer does not even move. It does not happen often -- only about once every few days. But, I have found a workaround on Win10: Simply press Ctrl+Alt+Del like you are going to lock the workstation, then press the Esc key. So far, that has always caused the screen to start painting correctly again.

Good quantity. Easy set up. Works as expected. Must have have for hone office set up.

The device works as expected. I was able to add two additional monitors to my all-in-one computer.

Bout this for my wife. She needed it to hook up more than one monitor and it worked really well. It does the job. Would def recommend

This adapter easily lets you connect monitors with HDMI via USB 3.0, no drivers or additional setup. Drawbacks: 1- only one port lets you connect to an HD monitor. 2- if you have more than one USB port on your device, it will not work with all of them. 3- it just hangs down with no support; eventually the plug will bend. 4- if you bump it, even a bit, it loses the connection.

I have used a second monitor with my laptop for a number of years. After recently purchasing a 34" monitor, I realized that using a smaller remote monitor in addition to the big one would enhance what I was doing. After considerable research, a Best Buy employee in the local store put me onto this device. It did exactly what I needed and wanted.

This unit does exactly what I needed it to do! I'm using a MacBook Pro and when I opened the package it said, "If using a Mac, download the driver before connecting your adaptor" I did just that, made a few adjustments on my Mac and I was up and running! Simple and straight forward!

Bought this for my laptop to switch to dual monitors. Highly worth it. Only occasionally will it not display, like it is being restarted, but I suspect this is more to do with my laptop than it is the product. Aesthetically very pleasing to look at.

It works great! I was able to extend my laptop screen onto two monitors. I was going to return it if I found something cheaper, but it turns out I bought it at BB at a fair price.I price checked with other vendors online, and anything similar and cheaper would have been an adapter that just mirrored my screen vs. extending it. (I also did not have to install any software to make it work as I learned other extenders require. You just connect everything, and voila!)

I replaced this with a Dell docking station, and then with a Targus docking station. These are much more expensive but allow multiple USB ad also a display port along with sound output. I carry this as an emergency backup and have only use it a few times.

Works like it should. I use to connect 2 monitors to my dell laptop because my laptop only has one HDMI output and this solves that problem

Does what its supposed to, best one I've used so far.

This was a necessary purchase as I was setting up a home office and need two monitors. The monitors were HDMI which didn’t work for my laptop. So far so good. I don’t know if it this connection or the monitors but sometimes the monitors take a bit to come on line with my laptop. Not a big issue just a delay

Excellent option for adding more than 1 external monitor to any laptop. Just plug into USB port, plug the monitors into the 2 HDMI ports, adjust the monitor settings in Windows, then VOILA, you have 3 monitors including the laptop screen!
