None of the "thunderbolt" dual display adapters I've tried actually worked, at least on the MacBook I'm using. But this adapter just needs a USB 3.0 socket, and a driver you must download and install in advance, and you're ready to go.

Never tweaks out nor given me any trouble since I first set it up. I have a pretty basic Lenovo laptop with no dedicated graphics card, no usb-c display port. I'm using it on a 17" and a 15" laptop screen that I pulled and added to my setup. I tried some cheaper adapters and they were not reliable. Very happy with this.

Easy to connect and Go

The devise has allowed me to use the monitor with my laptop and during these quarantine COVID 19 times, made working from home an easier task.

Having multiple monitors makes working much easier. The trick is to find the right cord or adapter to connect your computer to your display. This adapter will allow you to connect two adapters through a USB 3.0 port on your computer.

Works best for near static images (spreadsheets, web pages etc...). May not be satisfactory for gaming. When running multiple video streams, it will consume a lot of CPU and GPU time, but still very useable. If performance becomes an issue, move your video streaming windows to a monitor attached to your video card. I noticed significant drop in CPU, GPU load.

Works really good for viewing docs, emails, PDFs, spreadsheets etc... It lags a little when watching videos ie: YouTube but it’s not horrible. All in all, I’d recommend it.
