As good as advertised and able to be picked up.

It's probably a niche adapter because everything is USB-C nowadays, but I bought it due to an immediate need setting up a work laptop with dual HDMI monitors. The hot-swappable feature works as advertised and I think is quite rare for a USB 3.0 to dual hdmi monitor adapter.
