Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this adapter because it requires the installation of a special/custom driver from the manufacturer that implements a type of "screen sharing" to enable the external monitors. To do this, the manufacturer provides their own driver which intermittently works. Here are the issues I consistently have to deal with: 1) Often the mouse pointer (arrow) will randomly disappear when moving it from one screen to the other; you just can't see the pointer! 2) If I attempted to "un-dock" the device from my MBP, the screen on the MBP will turn solid white and the only thing you can do to use the laptop again is to press and hold the power button to reboot the system. I opened a service ticket with J5 Create and was told that there was nothing they could do to "fix" the issue -- except not to remove the USB connection while the laptop is powered on. NOT an acceptable response. (Unfortunately for me, due to business travel, I missed the return by window with Best Buy -- by 5 days -- and am now stuck with this faulty device. My advice, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
