My major concern is it seems to be going out after just 10 months of use. Monitors now tend to disconnect after a slight move. I verified: it's not the USB in my laptop nor is it monitors. Kind of disappointing as I expected the device to last longer.

Wow is this thing fussy! You have to download the driver to get it to work, which is fine, but I would say well over 75% of the time after waking or restarting my laptop it doesn't work. I check the drivers and unplug the adapter, I restart, I put the displays to sleep and wake them, quit and restart the driver, UGH! Eventually I get it working, but this thing is not worth the fuss. Based on the ratings I have big doubts on the legitimacy of Best Buy's rating system. Buy something that is more reliable!

Posted .The USB 3.0 to Dual HDMI Multi-Monitor Adapter is best if connected directly to a computer with an available USB Type-A port due to being a driver base device and possibly power requirements. Keep in mind that while it's possible to connect multiple adapters and docks, doing so can introduce complexity and increase the likelihood of compatibility issues.
