He stated it makes his work more efficient that he can view other devices that he normally have to unplug and plug devices in his laptop.

Great for multitasking

Definitely a luxury quality of life extra at the price, but quite cool as it streamlines my workstation setup and I have the capacity to easily add a 4th monitor in the future.

Unstable under Catalina, works well under Mojave

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give it 3 stars: Under Catalina with the latest drivers for this device I get kernel panic errors and at times it will just reboot. Does not matter what USB-C port is used on my 2019 MacBook Pro it just causes issues. Because of this and the need for 3 monitors I dropped back to Mojave. I have no issues on Mojave and it works like a charm. Tested again with a clean install of Catalina and as soon as the drivers are installed and start using the device I get the errors again and my system is unstable. No issues other DVI docking stations etc... Just seems to currently be a device issue.

Posted .We're sorry to hear you were having issues with the JCA366 under Catalina OS; it is possible the driver version you were using at the time may been unstable and we have since updated drivers to improve stability in Catalina.
