Product issue

Was told by j5create, the company was working on an updated driver, but until this was available would not be able to use. Returned the product and bought one from Apple direct.

Posted .Product issues are never the best feeling when needing to get work done. I am sorry to hear about your negative experience and no drivers available. As of 01/08/2021, we have drivers ready for macOS Big Sur and if you can please reach out to technical support printed on the casing, an agent will be glad to provide the install instructions.

Never worked

Then Best Buy stopped accepting returns before I could get.back to the store. I’ve usually had good experiences at this store, but this one could have not been worse.

Did not work

They also mentioned that there has been a few complaints about this product. So it’s not reliable.

Doesn't support the latest macOS.

Posted .I'm sorry about the misinformation here in regards to JCA366 compatibility. The JCA366 is compatible with Macs that are using an Intel chip, if your Mac is using an M1 chip, we do not have drivers at this time. We are placing all customers in such situation on an "On-Hold" list and once the software is available, you will be notified. I apologize for the inconvenience you had. We have plug-and-play adapters available that will work for you and if interested in learning more about them, please feel free to reach out to the support team printed on the casing and a specialist will be happy to help.

This is a great dock option if you have power from your charging cable. I would rather use this than pay up for some of these other docks. This works so well I have two now.
