This product doesn't work with the newest Mac update (Big Sur) which is absolutely ridiculous given the fact that it was $100 and I paid for it about 2 months ago. Really disappointing to see. Also don't know if it's just me but (before the Mac update) I would sometimes get a very noticeable latency when moving between screens. Even then, it still got the job done, very disappointed in this product, as I only got a couple months of use and no where on the packaging was I told that this product would no longer work after an update.

You are correct, as of this date 11/20/2020 our drivers are not compatible with MacOS Big Sur. Our developers are actively exploring solutions on how to make our devices compatible. The only solution that we can offer at this time is rolling back your OS. I regret that the adapter is causing frustration.

Heats up and doesnt work

Used 3 of the displays and it worked ok while the unit was cool. Had typical settings for 3 hdmi screens. Discreet and onboard graphics chips do not detect the screens attached to this unit. The intel and Nvidia software warned that I have no external displays attached at all even with the latest drivers. Once it heated up there was screen tearing on 2 of the screens. I had to disconnect one of the three screens to use the onboard HDMI which defeats the purpose of this expensive 4 screen option. Best buy now has an insanely short 15 day return policy so unfortunately I am past the return window and now have an expensive USB-C heater. Do not buy unless you plan on water cooling it.

Process was simple enough but any adaptor that is not plug and play is asinine to me.
