Thank you for purchasing this j5create adapter and leaving a review. One thing to ensure when purchasing display cables and adapters is to verify the conversion direction. The vast majority of display cables and adapters only work in one direction. In the case of this adapter it will plug into a USB C port on your computer or other device and send video output through the HDMI port to a display.

Yes, the JCA153G will let you connect a Thunderbolt 3 to a display with an HDMI input. The Apple Thunderbolt 3 port is really versatile and this adapter takes advantage of the versatility.
