Because the JCA153G connects via USB-C, it is possible that if there was a cover on the Mac it could have impeded a snug connection that is required for proper functionality. Doesn't work with phones!

The image appeared, blinked off, blinked on again, blinked off again ... just impossible. I purchased the Apple adapter and it worked fine. Tested this one again, and the blinking was there. Avoid this product.
