Posted .Because the JCA153G is a PnP adapter, your phone, computer, or tablet would need to support video output via USB-C. In this case, due to the phone not supporting such capability, the JCA153G would not work for you. It does not work w/ ASUS Vivobook 15 regardless of what the Best Buy rep say. After much research online, it comes to the USB Type-C in ASUS Vivobook 15 do not have enough power to connect to a monitor via HDMI. I returned it a couple times w/ different model but it turns out, it was the USB-C. I found my old USB J5 w/ connector to HDMI to monitor and it works.

Posted .The USB-C to 4K HDMI Adapter with Power Delivery requires that a computer must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out and USB Power Delivery to allow pass-through charge through a USB-C port interface.
