This doesn't happen with our Belkin adapter - I tested across several platforms. This adapter works, but causes flashes on the screen.

Apparently needs some sort of software, but it was not clear on the box or the instructions how to make it work. It was therefore useless for me and I had to return it to the store. I opted for a Display Port to HDMI which is working great.

Posted .The JCA153G is a Plug n Play, no software is available for installation. Connect to Thunderbolt 3 or 4/USB-C port with HDMI cable connected to a display with the correct input selected.
