Awesome cable but...

Keep in mind, it may overheat. My only warning. Other than that, it's great!

Posted .Hi Gbri7840, In regards to the JCA153G becoming warm when in use, this is normal as electricity is running through it. We completely understand the concern and if it becomes too hot to where it is harming you, please reach out to support and we will gladly exchange it for you under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

My son determined what cord to buy and raced over to your store and upon return the cord worked perfectly. We were able to show my dad's life on the large screen!! RIP Dad!

Can't tell if it's the dongle causing problems, or my monitor, or my laptop. Either way, response rate with the monitor is awful. Constantly have to disconnect, reconnect.

The only issue I have may not be the adaptor. The monitor after a period of use will go blank, requiring it to be unplugged than plugged back in.

The JCD383 is an easy way to add ports to a laptop. This adapter is plug and play, but requires to be plugged into a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Glad to hear that it is working great for your needs and causing zero problems.
