A: Unfortunately because the Samsung a50 does not support the DP alt-mode feature which is when the phone can support display/video via the USB-C port the JCA153G will not work for you. Instead, we recommend the JUA165C and once you download the app required onto your phone, that will work. ** Feel free to contact the Technical Support team mentioned on the packaging for further assistance or if you have any more questions and someone will be glad to assist.- A: In order for this device to work it requires that your tablet supports a feature called DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB Type-C. This feature allows your tablet to output a display signal over your USB Type-C port, and unfortunately, your tablet does not support this feature.
