We appreciate you taking the time to leave a product review for this adapter. Commonly when there are more connections in a chain it is more likely for loss of video quality, a connection being broken, or even a total loss of signal. For a direct connection between a USB C device and HDMI display the cable in the link below is a good alternative.

not stable

At first it worked, but after an hour the screen started to black out and laptop was losing connection with the monitor. I am returning it as soon as they open. But this is ridiculous.

It is possible the HDMI cable may have been defective, or if there was another device/converter connected in between that may have been causing this; in situations like this, we recommend contacting support on the casing and a rep will be ready to lend a helping hand and see if we can resolve it or offer a solution.

Not Windows friendly

Posted .The Video Adapter works off a feature called "DisplayPort Alt Mode" for video out over USB-C. The Chromebook may have that feature built-in and the computer with Windows 11 may have not. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.
More expensive and unreliable
