Posted .MacBook computers with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 supports DP Alt Mode and PD. The JCC155G should work on Mac computers. Just connect your USB-C device to an HDMI TV or display. Thank you.

Nice idea but didn't work out for me

The adapter got hot and the computer shut down the extended display. My laptop adapter supplies 65W so it should have been okay. I exchanged it for a normal USB-C to 4K HMDI adapter.

No issues so far but I really wish I could have found a way via bluetooth. I hate having all these cords all over the place! I have them in a cable cover, but I still see them.
