I have an HP ProBook and I have this problem. I just have to be careful not to move the laptop while using the adapter.

Posted .LMack11, In regards to the easy disconnection you are experiencing, this could be due to a cover on the laptop impeding full insertion, or a defective JDA214. In order to best diagnose, troubleshoot and offer solutions, we recommend contacting the support team printed on the casing and an agent will be more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Posted .Surface users or anyone looking to add another screen to their set up can now do so in seconds with the JDA204/JDA214 - simply connect the VGA, USB male ends to the computer, add an HDMI cable to the display and done.
