Posted .Hey Ysc00by, thank you for the input on your customer service experience as the JDA214 serves as a simple device to be used to connecting an additional HDMI monitor, TV, projector with no driver installation required. Simply plug in the USB and VGA male ends into the computer and then HDMI to HDMI cable to the external display and you are all set!

When you frequently travel and do presentations it is smart to have your own video adapters to ensure that your computer can connect with the display hardware where you are presenting. This adapter has a USB plug that will transmit audio data from your computer to the secondary display. Without this USB plug a VGA to HDMI converter would not transfer audio. Must have on Legacy Computers and KBM swtich
