Didn't know i needed a different video adapter. Purchased this adapter and found out i needed a different HDMI cable. Bought that and now the unit works great!! So, my review is that I was ignorant of what i needed but was able to figure it out once I know i needed different connectors. Good purchase!

Posted .Older computers not having a built-in HDMI port for newer monitor compatibility can use the JDA204/JDA214 to easily convert video signal from VGA to HDMI.

Posted .Getting an HDMI display to work with an older computer can cause incompatibility requiring complex installations. With the JDA214/JDA204, simply connect the VGA and USB male ends to the computer, add an HDMI cable to the TV, monitor, projector and done.
