Needed to pick up a transmitter for my iPod for a long road trip. The set up was easy, however the reception traveling from State to State changes as frequencies change.

It was suggested to me by a friend to purchase this item as my son's car does not have a plug for an aux cord...it works ok...lots of static - not sure if he needed a better quality one

I get tired of talk shows. Especially on long drives. I'd rather listen to a good audiobook. Which I can now do, thankfully, from the comfort of my old car that doesn't have bluetooth. I can play it from my mp3 player or smartphone, and avoid listening to DJs rant about mundane stuff, or listen to commercials that I don't care about. And if I tire of my audiobooks, I can listen to my music, stuff that I'd want to listen to. From my phone. via a radio. Our founding fathers would be dumbfounded by this technology. (And feminism too, likely, now that I think about it). (Reminder to self: look for an audiobook that exposes founding fathers to technology. And feminism.)

Purchased after an old unit gave up the ghost after many years of use. JamKast was easy to set up and provides greater volume than old unit. It's also quite compact.

If you don't have an aux input this will work fine. It can be fussy especially on a road trip where you are moving in and out of FM reception but overall good if you aren't sure you want to put in an hard wired aux input.

My car doesn't have an aux port or Bluetooth. I love this thing. I can hook it up to my phone or Ipad. I listen to audio books while I drive and it makes it easier to hear.

It was a little hard to use with the instructions provided but eventually figured it out. Working wise it varies - its bulky and annoying to plug in all the time but it works - just fades in and out once in a while.

This fm transmitter is great for use in a vehicle with no aux hole. The quality sound and clearness is def worth the $$

The very best stereo tuner . I've had many different ones and kept returning them because they were either staticy or just didnt pick up the audio. This tuner is gold.

While i do feel this kit was a little pricey, it does the trick. I didn't wanna purchase a cheapo one that would prob not last. SO, imo worth the $.

I have used several FM adapters like this one over the years. This one has a couple nice features with the scan for clear stations being the nicest. Most areas will require a couple stations to use as you drive about town, having the presets makes this more simple. Still get some interference from time to time, but have never seen a product like this that does not.

This is the worst FM transmitter I've ever used. Bought it for my fiancé for his birthday and was sadly disappointed. When we tried using it, the music was not recognizable. It sounded like a radio station that you've gotten close to but weren't on quite the right frequency. We checked and made sure everything was tuned appropriately and even tried different stations, but nothing worked. Long story short, do not buy this if you want an FM transmitter that actually works.

I've only had luck with one fm transmitter and that's one best buy sells thats permanently wired to the antenna port. I had a car with no tape deck or easy access so I mistakenly thought more money= better quality. The interface is clunky, and the reception is mediocre. I would say any fm station had better quality than this. It worked in a pinch, but for the price I paid I felt I would have been just as well off to buy one from the gas station.

This product definitely works and is a nice addition to an autmobile that does not have an audio AUX jack or bluetooth. Unfortunately, the construction is not as sturdy as it should be.

Love it, works flawlessly and set it up for use in my patrol car. A lot of coworkers love my setup and went and purchased same device as well.

I had an absolutely awful experience with this device. I live in a fairly popular city with several radio stations, but not so much as there will be too much interference. I gave it three days of driving around and having the automatic program select stations for me multiple times but I was never able to get it to work. I had to return it and go with one of those old school cassette adapters instead. Very disappointed.

It works but quality of sound isn't all that great. A very faint hissing can be heard, but can be easily drowned out by the music. You have to with stations frequently if traveling long distances.

This little unit is very easy to use and setup. Anything with a headphone jack can play through it to your radio. I like the way it finds a clear frequency for you.

the device was good but it didnt get a good signal and only lasted a while

I love this transmitter, this is the 2nd one I bought. 1st one got smashed in the car door. works very well and without static.....
