If you don't need to have a watch or smart watch this is a great alternative. It is very lightweight and never feels bulky. Jawbone has a great app that provides a lot to tips and motivation.

Love it! Ap is easy to understand. Cannot cheat be moving your hands like with Fitbit My husband had a Fitbit and returned it. He can't believe how hard it is to get 10000 steps with the Up 3.

I had the up2 before this. I like the stronger band and better closure. It stays in place well no matter the activity. I mostly use mine for tracking sleep. Love the added rem sleep stats.

This item is comfortable to wear, but it lacks the results I am looking for. Yes it keeps my step count (although I doubt its accuracy due to using another device at the same time and having different numbers). I also do like the sleep sensors and the daily reports you can get. It gives you a heart rate so randomly to me its stupid. No way to get a heart rate when you are wanting it. No calorie burner counter, etc... Last thing is it does have a nice battery life, about 1 week before it needs to be recharged.

The biggest problem with this item was the clasp. It wouldn't stay shut. It was a bad design.

I got this one because it looked a little more like a bracelet than most. I haven't had any band problems like a lot of reviewers but I've only had it a few months. Good for people who are trying to be active but not super intense.

I absolutely love my up3 its helped be keep track of what i eat and the sleep tracking is amazing, since ive started wearing it ive gotten better sleep and been way more active.

It's good but the heart rate monitor, which is supposed to differ it from the up2 isn't really quite accurate. You can't really check your heart rate any time you want.

This was an upgrade from the Jawbone 2 and it was well worth it. The addition of heart rate information is amazing. The software is comprehensive and easy to use.

I upgraded and I love this model! Only complaint was that it used my phone battery very quickly, but I think the latest software update has helped that a lot.

I have owned several of the fitness bands and for my use the Jawbone Up3 is the best and most reliable by far. The price point is right where it should be and actually much lower than available elsewhere.

I have had other Jawbone products before. This one misses only when it comes to the clasp, it comes loose and catches on my hair all the time!

Looks nice but not quite sure of longevity. I have had to replace mine a couple times but luckily they have good manufacturing warranty. Just have to send back and they will replace if within a year.

I bought this UP3 while it was on sale. Now I wear it everyday. The app is very user friendly and it helps me to track my heartbeat. I love this product!

I have tried several fitness trackers, this one by far beats fitbit, wiithings,and is very easy to use. I like that you don't even know you have it on.

I bought this a month ago for my friend, she love the gadget. :] Uses this everyday, track her sleep and use this to track her walk everyday :]

I like the tracker and the sleep feature. I do not like that this color gets dirty very fast and it becomes harder to clean with time.

I purchased this as an aid to increase fitness. It has become so much more by tracking calories, heart rate, sleep, etc. Awesome product!

Great for everyday activity bought for heart rate tracking while exercising but only tracks resting heart rate. Great product still. Love how it is more fashionable then a fitbit.

The sensors are not able to read my data when you wear it loose so i must wear tight which causes the sensors to leave indentations in my wrist. Returned for Fitbit HR.
