this is my second Jawbone band. The first was an UP2. I enjoyed the UP2 and it encouraged me to move. The wrist band failed (tore in two) about a year after I purchased it so I ordered this UP3. I wanted heart monitoring anyway. The wrist bank on this unit is improved but still not perfect but I like the Jawbone product so I good with the band. The heart rate monitor only tells you your resting heart rate. I did not read the description well enough so my bad but RHR is a good heath monitor. Overall I'm satisfied.

The band is good and no issues other than it does not always record the workout so manually entering it or tart the workout on your phone prior to starting. I don't always have my phone so that seems counter productive to me.

This is my first health tracker and I researched options for a few days before and actually was going to get the Fitbit charge HR, but Best Buy had a blast sale and the Up3 was only $47 so I figured a good way to jump into the market cheap. I wish it had an alert screen and I could see things without having to open my phone. It also misses syncs a lot and you have to open the phone to see your stats and refresh. The tracking seems to be accurate and there is a good bit of data on the app and menu logging but the ecosystem is lacking. The smart coach is ok, but it can be generic. Reminders you can set are limited and there is no online website to go into deep dives of your data. Only the app which is limited. It holds a charge for a good 5-6 days so that is good and it doesn't take too long to charge which is another benefit. It is very lightweight and easy to wear which is probably something you give up when you go for the fancier bands/watches so that is the tradeoff. For a first and cheap jump into the market place I am satisfied but when I repurchase I will most likely go for one with more features.

The wrist band is extremely awkward to put on. It should be just a simple clasp, like a watch band buckle. It was originally purchased because it connects to the health app on the iPhone. I would recommend with caution.

The tracker is nice for a 1st time purchase of this type of tech. It takes some time to set up as there is no Manila you have to go on website for instructional video

The only bands I ever own is Jawbone. The first band worked awesome. It had a nap feature that is not currently on this one. The last update made it were you put it on and forget it. No need to set it. That's a awesome feature, but sometimes if you would like to turn on sleep mode you have to do it from your phone. You cut set it on the band which sucks. I gave this a 3 because it does not have nap mode, and and you can't turn the sleep mode on from the band.

I am realizing I don't get enough Sleep. This has helped a lot. I also now know my heart patterns. I am still figuring it out, but like everything about it so far.

I upgraded from UP24 to get this new model. Band is less bulky and easy to get on and off after a quick break-in period. Only provides resting heart rate. Hoping they will upgrade firmware to expand capabilities.

I love this. It counts my steps, and even checks my heart rate during sleep. It is easy to use and connects via Bluetooth to my smartphone. Well worth the money.

I like the slim fit of the UP3 and the app that goes with it is very useful. Wish it could be used to track heart rate during exercise for fitness training.

I love the UP bands, but with this newest update, I wish I could turn on the stopwatch function with out my phone. I love that I no longer need to put it on sleep mode. Wireless updates are also a huge plus

The only problem with the band that I can see is that a activity has to be started with the phone and if your phone is not handy all the time you take your chances with it logging it wirelessly.

I've read a lot of negative comments about how difficult this product was, but I've had the opposite experience. The band works just fine, and I have had no issues at all changing modes. The app is the best quality. The only things that are awkward getting used to is booking the band when putting it on, and getting it set on the charger correctly. I'm not sure how accurate the sleep minister is, but it still gives me a rough estimate on the feedback.

Love the features. Lots of data supplied. Manufacturer's technical support is excellent. Not very attractive. But BB just came out with a gold/white version. Of course, after I purchase.

The UP3 band is more secure than the UP24 band and performs better than the older models. It is somewhat sluggish at times syncing and I have to constantly re pair the band to the phone.
