The design is way better in the UP3 ! The heart rate capability is lacking a little, but some is better than none.

im a big guy...fits tight. alsonthe clamps have a tendancy to hurt...

Love this tracker! There are just so many things I Ilike about this tracker, but I'm only going to talk about a few. The program app does a great job in helping you make better choices, from getting you moving, getting enough sleep and so on, by also making helpful suggestions to help improve your health choices. One feature that I particularly like is the silent alarm. I have always had a hard time getting up in the morning, this one has a feature option to wake you, up to 30 minutes before your alarm goes off, if you are in a light sleep. Love this! When this happens I am more alert upon getting up, not groggy like I've struggled with my whole life. Who new this could make such a huge difference in how I feel the whole day. Didn't know about this feature before I bought it. Thank you Jawbone for this feature!

This jawbone 3 is quite nice, from the style of it, to all of its features. I love how well you can track all your info, and it doesn't even look like a fitness bracelet. I have the beige and gold one. I've had it since December and it is getting a little discolored from wearing. Must find a way to clean it. Other than that I recommend this fitness band.

I had been considering the Up3 since before it came out in 2015, and loved the features it was supposed to have. When it initially came out with a lot of the capabilities disabled, and the high price still intact, the reviews were harsh. This is most of what you will read about it online. However in 9/2015 they came out with a firmware upgrade that made the Up3 much more useful. It doesn't do heart rate tracking during exercise, but it does basically cover anything else you could ever want. And recently it has been discounted everywhere (though nowhere as much as Best Buy - thanks!), so it has become an exceptional value. My favorite features are the automatic sleep tracking (clearly breaking sleep into Light, Deep, and REM) and the ability to easily log my food consumption. The coaching can be motivating as well, even though I find it to be slightly hokey. Overall I am thrilled with my purchase, and look forward to continuing to use it even after I met my weight loss goal.

Love the Jawbone up 3 it is user friendly. Only issue is the Clasp

I like everthing but the HR monitor is for sleep....i want my HR for activities. I read that jawbone may add with software updates.... Waiting

I did not like or keep it because I did not like the buckle that it had. It was difficult for me to hook up. But it had great functionality

The up3 has a great look but unlike the up24, it's difficult to put on with the new band style. With the new design, the up3 is also difficult to switch into sleep/active mode. The design is pretty & sleek but for me, it was not as functional as the up24.

I had a great experience with this product. The only negative I would say is the metal readers were annoying sometimes.

The first one I bought would not pair with either iPad or iPhone. The second one did pair but then wanted to do a software update. It failed and had to be re-paired twice until it was totally charged. Once set up it does a great job of tracking activity and especially sleep cycles. It is however hard to clip on with one hand.

-I wish fitness trackers accommodated for us "night shifters" -The clasp on my UP 3 slides out pretty easily, and the rubber hole thingy on my UP 2 broke. Over all I prefer the design of the UP 24. -Definitely prefer the UP over FitBit. The UP App is the best.

Not only is it a solid tracker but the insight & health tips it gives you is amazing.

There needs to be a better way to redo the strap so it won't keep coming a loose

I had several Fitbits before. For whatever reason they kept becoming unpaired. I could not get any assistance from Fitbit customer service. I switched to Jawbone. Initially I was having the same problem but with GREAT customer service. The product also provides me with more education. I am very pleased with my UP3!

I have been trying to get in shape for sometime and decided to buy a fitness tracker. Not only does this count steps, it syncs with my fitness pal app, which makes keep track of my food intake and exercise nearly seamless. The only drawback is the band sometimes falls off my wrist for no reason as it comes loose.
