Although it looks nice, it is a really skimpy feeling device. Lacks intuitive information and the the app needs a major overhaul with some great enhancements... returned it after two weeks of use.

I have had other Jawbone products before. This one misses only when it comes to the clasp, it comes loose and catches on my hair all the time!

If you don't need to have a watch or smart watch this is a great alternative. It is very lightweight and never feels bulky. Jawbone has a great app that provides a lot to tips and motivation.

Love it! Ap is easy to understand. Cannot cheat be moving your hands like with Fitbit My husband had a Fitbit and returned it. He can't believe how hard it is to get 10000 steps with the Up 3.

I had the up2 before this. I like the stronger band and better closure. It stays in place well no matter the activity. I mostly use mine for tracking sleep. Love the added rem sleep stats.

Use this tracker daily for my activities and sleep. Sends emails to me and encourages me to meet daily goals for walking. Has helped to improve sleep patterns especially my rem sleep.

I bought this for sleep tracking, I have no way of knowing how accurate it is but it seems to be pretty close and I consider it a valuable tool as sleeping well does not come easy for me

I got this one because it looked a little more like a bracelet than most. I haven't had any band problems like a lot of reviewers but I've only had it a few months. Good for people who are trying to be active but not super intense.

Great tracker for the price, it does everything I need it to do. The app is very easy to use. It is comfortable to wear. I got black because I thought it would be less noticeable.

This is my first activity tracker, so i do not have anything to compare it to, but it seems to do as advertised. I like that it's low profile and fits my tiny wrists without getting in the way. I personally have not had an issue with it coming undone as i've read in other reviews, but i did order the free "lock" from jawbone website just in case i encounter an issue in future. Paired great with my galaxy s7 and updates throughout the day by itself, or i can do it manually. sleep tracker seem spot on and i like how it allows customizing and changing entries. charges super quick and lasts about 4-5 days before i feel need to recharge

The sensors are not able to read my data when you wear it loose so i must wear tight which causes the sensors to leave indentations in my wrist. Returned for Fitbit HR.

I had owned a Jawbone UP2 prior to buying the UP3 for almost a year and it was a neat device which would track my activities with about 80% accuracy. Same could be said about UP3 and the APP for both iOS & Android is the best part of the entire experience. However, with the heart rate sensor the UP3's strap-on belt flies open frequently & without notice. And I did loose my UP3 in one such incident :(

The battery life on this is not what I expected after using an UP24 for well over a year. I got 3-4 days max out of this. The band would not stay tight enough to monitor heart rate, no matter how I tried to adjust it. I returned it after 30 days, although Best Buys would not give me my money back. I did get store credit.

First off anyone saying this product isn't good has no idea what they are talking about. One person mentions waiting for the up4, but if they knew anything then they would know that the up4 is the same exact thing as the 3, but with the added payment method. Overall the up3 is an excellent product. Like all other jawbone products, the software is hands-down the best compared to other brands. The food tracking, activity tracking, sleep tracking and smart coach are all very polished and have given me better insight into my habits and my overall health. I go to the gym and lift weights and run every single day, but I still believe having one of these gives you a better perspective on your health and well-being. Now back to the hardware. The only problem I've run into is that sometimes it's hard to get the tracker to recognize you are tapping it, so to get around that instead of trying to tap twice, I just tap make 4 taps the amount I tap it and it works everytime. Jawbone states that they made it hard to do because they didn't want people accidentally tapping it throughout the day. I mean realistically you should only be tapping it to go to bed and wake up so it's not a very big negative for me. The step counter seems to be very accurate as i have tested it on a treadmill for a fixed distance. The clasp is a little finicky at first, but once you get used to the way it works, taking it on and off is as simple as tying your shoes. I haven't noticed it getting looser throughout the day and i pretty much forget that i have it on. I only take it off to shower. I also haven't had it fall off during sleep, which some other users have mentioned. So maybe they either don't have it fastened right or perhaps not tight enough. The only thing I would like to see them do in the near future is being able to record active heart rate throughout a workout with maybe a running notification to say what the bmp are and the heart rate zone you are in. I have a polar rcx 5, but i would like to be able to just stick with the jawbone. I also think the software should allow you to calibrate the distance so it becomes more accurate over time and maybe you can do this and i just haven't seen where yet. One last thing I would like to see is the ability to copy someone on your team's meals. My girlfriend and eat mainly the same meals throughout the day, especially dinner and it would be nice for only one of us to have to enter the food then the other could copy that over to their food intake. Overall i would recommend this product and I think jawbone really stepped their game up with this product. Is it flawless? No, but I think with time and software updates this can become a near flawless fitness tracker. Water proof would have just been an added bonus, but since I don't do water activities this doesn't affect me but I would like to see them get it into their next model.

Purchased for daughter. BB employee answered all questions. Said it tracked sleep stages. It is an expensive pedometer. Even when she was up letting dog out, it showed she had slept straight through the night. When we returned it, the sales clerk said he had heard same complaint many times.Only shows resting BP and heart rate.
