What i love most about this tracker is the minimalist look. It's stylish like a bracelet. I wear a smartwatch so I dont need that digital display. The software is really great. The heart rate only measures resting so that's a slight downfall. Steps are accurate and I love the LONG lifespan of about 6 days on this. I even bought some for my sisters and we can do step challenges and give each other motivation. I got it on sale for $50 great deal! I am a huge fan of Jawbone and the quality on this band is definitely Jawbone quality.

I use my jawbone every night. This is my 2nd jawbone,I love the design It took a little while to get used to latching the band, but once I did I can latch and unlatch the band quickly (it's a better design than the first jawbone UP)

    Jawbone UP3

The Jawbone UP3 is a good device overall. I have had 2 different FitBits including the HR. This is my favorite of the 3. The UP3 app is much better than the app of the Fitbit. It stays charged longer than the Fitbit (usually 5 - 6 days) and it is smaller than the Fitbit HR. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the clasp mechanism needs some work. It unlatches frequently. Additionally, it doesn't have a read out on the bracelet itself. If they can fix those two problems, I will continue to use the Jawbone brand.

It's easy to use, the app is very straightforward with many recording options. The clasp gets caught in hair and loose strings often.

I had the old UP24 and this version is far superior. It tracks my activity more accurately and tracks my sleep. Also no more of the bracelet getting tangled like the UP 24 did.

The UP3 is awesome it tracks, in detail my sleep patterns, gives suggestions on how to have a better nights sleep and tracks my steps and calories burned. Syncs with my phone.

I've been using Jawbone UP bands since 2012. They are great when they work but break rather quickly. They do a good job of replacing while under warranty typically but that gets annoying. I bought the UP3 on 8/13 and it stopped working on 9/10, so not even a full month.

I really wanted to like this, but sadly Jawbone has not added active heart rate monitoring yet and that was one of my reasons for purchasing. Another big issue was fit. With only 1 size, when tight enough to be on properly per the instructions, it was uncomfortable when turning or flexing my wrist. I'm a very small woman but this was not designed for someone as small as me. I really tried, wore it for a month, but after having to re-sync multiple times per day, reported sleep time being way off(had to manually adjust every morning), and step count not accurate either, I returned it today and got a Fitbit Charge HR. I'm loving it!!!! The HR tracks active & resting heart rate optically, so the band is to be worn loose, like a bangle bracelet...PERFECT for a small person. It is so comfortable, even though it is much larger than the UP3. So far the HR seems more accurate and although there are complaints about the app, I actually prefer Fitbit because you can sync to smartphone and/or computer(and it comes with a dongle in case your computer doesn't have Bluetooth, like mine). Set up of the HR was easier as well. I'm typically independent and not usually part of a heard(no iPhone for me)...lol. But in this case FOLLOW the HEARD....Fitbit has it more figured out than the others(have tried a few other bands as well)....they aren't perfect either, but much better.

I bought this because it was highly recommend for both the sleep tracking and fitness tracking. It has been very accurate for both and has a good battery life. Last about 6 days on a full charge. Only complaint is the band hook. It comes undone easily and to fix the issue you have to purchase the band clips from Jawbone directly. Other than that it has been a great tool in helping me achieve both my sleep and fitness goals. Would highly recommend it!

I got the up3 to monitor my activity, heart rate, and sleep. The heart rate monitor function can be a little off sometimes, but usually it's very accurate! And the clasp keeps sliding down making me have to tighten it up a couple of times a day. I've had it for about a month and everything works great! Only thing is that I wish you could have it check your heart rate in real time whenever you're working out. It does monitor it quite regularly though.

Most comfortable fit compared to fitbit HR

the app is great and the UP3 is the most comfortable to wear compared to the FITBIT Charge HR. My only complaint is the heart rate monitor only gives you your RESTING heart rate after you have slept. But I would take the comfort and size of the UP 3 over the bulkiness of the Charge HR even though UP3 only gives you your resting heart rate after a night of sleep. And another great feature of Jawbone is their app which gives you your steps, your sleep and allows you to enter food to count calories and gives you health tips and motivational quotes.

I wish the store had the UP3 in black, but the silver is nice too. I was looking for a fitness tracker with heart rate sensors, but didn't want a watch since I already have the Gear 2 smartwatch. The UP3 is perfect! It integrates well with MyFitnessPal and the Smart Coach is amazing. I love how it looks at all the collected data, compares it to previous data, and offers advice, encouragement, and hints to help along your journey.

The first one that I had lasted less than a week before the battery died and would not recharge. The current one I am wearing does not notify me when the battery is getting low as my Jawbone Up used to do. I'm more partial to the Up but because of battery problems with that version I had 3 of them over the last 1 1/2 years.

Liked jawbone 1 and up24 but had replace 3 or 4 before. This one I returned. Would not charge as instructions indicated, would not hold charge, had to pair multiple times a week and only had it 4 weeks. Reported sleep repetitively indicating I slept 26 hours in a day! Showed sleeping while also exercising. Not acurate and could not manually calibrate steps, resting heart rate was only once daily which was worthless. Magnetic charging just didn't catch well after first use. Spent too much time fighting it then enjoying it. It was a headache, really needs something that works and last more than 6 months.

My wife loves her Jawbone UP3. She said it is very comfortable and she is able to wear it with all of her outfits. She had been wanting a tracker for a while but did not like the options out on the market until she saw this one. She has been using it for a month now and has really enjoyed tracking her results. She said the app is very user friendly and provides her with all the information she needs.

I like almost everything about this tracker and it does a good job keeping track of your sleep and your steps. It's relatively easy to put in your food items and your exercise. If I was going to buy another tracker,I might not buy the light colored band, because it tends to look dirty after while. I know there are several bands out there that have LED readouts, but I haven't really missed it with this band.
