Second Jawbone tracker and the last! Up3 is uncomfortable and irritating, the strap sensors dig into your skin (it can't be too loose because of the sensors). The sensors are not even gold plated by the looks of it. Caused skin irritation after 2 days of use. Upgraded to Up3 as my Up24 broke down (button fell off). Make sure you have Geek Squad protection as Jawbone Customer Service said it was an 8 week replacement or a lower spec product and a 'voucher' - Terrible!. Bestbuy allowed me to return and purchase the upgrade to the Up3 (which is what Jawbone should have done in the first place). Heart rate is only resting heart rate taken once per day. I like the app and the tracker looks cool but the product(s) is poor (e.g.) tap sensor does not always respond), I'm returning for a fitbit. My recommendation is to avoid Jawbone trackers.

Well crafted, comfortable and sleek. It's compatibility with the app is seamless. The dailymotivational advice is wonderful and has helped me be happier and healthier. Go Jawbone!

The product works well, but the battery life starts to suck very fast. Also, I am not sure how accurate the sleep charting is. I know there are times when I wake up and the band does not catch it. That was the main reason I got this version and that is sad.

I had to return mine because it kept falling off my wrist. Love sleep capabilities but calories burned aren't as easy to input.

I was very excited about this new product and one of the first to pre-order. Unfortunately, it has been a complete let down. The heart rate is not real-time, which was a let down in itself, but one I could live with. The deal breaker for me was when I left it at home in sleep mode one day. Somehow, it miraculously took heart rate measurements and recorded sleep patterns while sitting unworn on my nightstand. Clearly even the "Resting Heart Rate" measurement is nothing more than a hoax derived from fancy app analytics. I'll be sticking to other trackers that show my heart rate on demand to ensure data reporting accuracy. On a side note, the double tap feature isn't very good. Switching from sleep to active mode was very difficult at times, while other times it would change by barely even touching it.

I bought this for my wife & I, not even a year worn and the clasp does not want to remain clasped. The band has begun to separate where the metal clasp go together, the sync between the app and the UP3 is spotty on Android & iOS even after the firmware updates. Battery life was great the first month but now neither of our UP3s last for more than 3-4 days without charging again. The indication via the iOS app is pretty delayed that I tend to charge it more than I wear it. After changing phones due to a warranty issue it no longer automatically logs my sleep patterns without opening the app and editing the duration. The activity log is rather nice, as we compare our sleep patterns to one another or family friends that have one. Currently my band has electrical tape to help prevent further damage while I may end up using rescue tape to hold it together while I await a response from Customer Service. A few month back their servers were having issues and I lost most my activity/sleep data.

I love the size and and weight of the band-it is perfect for someone with small wrists like me. However, this band is very inaccurate in it's readings. My longest idle time usually hits 7 hours a day, which is VERY inaccurate. I was grocery shopping for over an hour today and my idle alert was still going off while I was moving around! I gave the band a solid 1.5 weeks and tried troubleshooting with Jawbone and nothing changed. I will be returning this for a Fitbit this afternoon. Don't waste your time on this product right now!

I love this band but I fight with it every time I need to charge it and tonight I am losing the fight and getting really irritated. Every time I have to clean the tiny little contacts to get the thing to attach properly and nothing is working this time. Complete waste of money if it won't charge.

This was a major disappointment! I chose this tracker because of the activity reminder. However, the cheap workmanship includes a faulty clasp that came unhooked. I noticed this after less than one month and by the next day had lost the item and my nearly $200 that was used to purchase the item. I am now going to purchase a Fit Bit since the clasp seems to be better.

I had an Up, then Up2, and now the Up3. I hate it. My biggest fear is I'm going to loose it because it doesn't stay fastened; when this happens it will be $180 down the drain. The sleep mode pops on sporadically, or turns off when I am asleep. With the original UP you could hit the end of the UP to log the start and finish of an activity, now your at the mercy if it even registers your activity which is 75% of the time. Don't buy this product

This stuff can use 7 days. Means you don't need to take it off often. The heart rate is not correct .the design is good .but HR is better.

This is a great product and I find myself using it everyday to check my stats. I have sleep apnea so I am able to see my sleeping pattern and my heart rate monitor and I can adjust accordingly. For those concerned about the clasp, jawbone will mail you a clip that adds security absolutely free at the time of this writing. Great support. Good luck!

The clasp is very difficult to clasp. I don't know why they didn't just make it like a watch clasp. Since its not waterproof, I would need to take it off several times a day and this will be very irritating with this clasp. It is going back immediately.

It works good to calculate my steps and motivate me at times comparing with friends

I tired Fitbit charge before. The sleeping tracking is not accurate at all!

I would not recommend this tracker as there is a problem with the clasp design. Mine fell off while I was at a mall, I only had it for 3 days and now it is gone and Jawbone won't help me as the warranty does not cover loss. I spent over $100 on this device for 3 days of use and now I have nothing, I am not a happy Jawbone customer. If you do buy it, be very careful, check it frequently to make sure it doesn't fall off without your knowledge. I also had a problem while I had it with losing the connection to my phone, every time I opened the app I would have to re-pair the device, not very convenient. Very bad product, do not buy.

This was a gift for someone who needs to keep track of their sleep patterns and heart rate. It has worked great and is helping them to regulate their sleep habits.
