Works just like I need it to! Easy to move around!

Horrible Product. Stopped working after like a week. As others have mentioned, the support options for JAXJOX are terrible. Save yourself and buy a different pair of dumbells that don't use magnets to switch weights or you'll end up with two 50-pound paperweights.

Once you take them off, they are very hard to set back on correctly. I’ve had to not adjust the weights due to this problem.

So far so good! Only gripe is the subscription but if you do your own research you know what you're getting

Probably the worst dumbbells I've ever purchased. One worked flawlessly until it didn't and the other came out of the box not working. 4 plates were already broken when i received as well but that isn't why I'm rating it so poorly. If it worked all the time I'd probably give it a 4 or a 5....but it just doesn't work. The one broken out of the box pretends to pick up the first plate and just retracts. Trust me when i say this I tried working on these for 3 days...trouble shooting everything I could...Disappointing

These are awesome! They are very convenient and a great set to have where space is limited. Love them!

Caught these on sale at Dicks and Best Buy price matched with no problem. Work great and are great for saving space.

Best dumbbell set I have ever owned. Makes me wanna get up and get my workout in early before I go to work. Love the app and how it records my workouts.

The dumbells I got were defective the pure hassle of returning these has made me write this review. Jaxjox app is terrible, but not as bad as their customer service. I hope anyone who buys any of their stuff never has to deal with them.

Do NOT waste your money. I had a dumbbell break within a week. The internals became loose and rattled as well as not retracting and left me with weights stuck on the dumbbell. All the while being VERY careful with handling during workouts. After it broke, I was required to send video after video to prove that it was indeed broken. Once they were finally convinced, they sent a return slip that I had to pay the shipping for, took over a month, and send me another broken handle piece. If I could give any suggestions, get the PowerBlocks.

My main issue with the dumbbells its the app. It worked for three days and i havent been able to use it after. Granted, they did mention they will be migrating to a new server so hopefully that helps. The built its fine, nothing fancy. Putting them back in the base its sometimes a bit difficult.

Very good weight set.. I'll recommend to family and friends

I never knew how owning a set of adjustable dumbbells changes your perception of a home workout setup. In the past, if you wanted to have a set of dumbbells that covered a variety of weights, you had to have a rack that took up a considerable amount of space - and a considerable amount of weight in your workout area. Adjustable dumbbells are a great compromise - you get a variety of weights available to you and you take up a fraction of the amount of space required compared to a full set that would typically range in the 30-35 pound area. The JAXJOX Dumbbell connect dumbbells are part of an overall system of JAXJOX connected fitness equipment. The dumbbells not only report back stats like the amount of reps and sets you have completed, but you can change the weight of the dumbbells via the app / fitness program that JAXJOX offers at an additional cost. The dumbbells themselves are quite interesting in design. They start out at 8 pounds with no additional weight attached, and adjusting the weight adds a 3 pound plate on either end of the dumbbell, allowing you to get increments of 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44, and 50 pounds - so keep this in mind if you're doing workouts and you have a need to start smaller than 8 or want to increment less than 6. For starting smaller, I'd simply buy some smaller 2 to 5 pounds weights. Features I like about the JAXJOX dumbbells - they have a nice flat spot on the bottom, so between sets you can set them down and they aren't going to roll anywhere. The base stations that you use to dock the dumbbells have a battery and charge via USB, so I can keep these in my workout area, and charge them as needed (I charge them without the dumbbells sitting on them.). Also, this may sound strange - but when the additional plates are attached to these dumbbells, there's no jiggling / "clacking" - the plates attach in a very solid manner. The grip surface of each dumbbell is milled fairly deep and provides good grip on bare hands, without being too aggressive to cause soreness / calluses. I do find myself adjusting the weight manually on the base station rather than using the app - as I've found myself falling back to my normal training routine rather than the JAXJOX fitness program - as it's easier to simply tap the button a few times to get the weight you want rather than going through the mobile phone app. I will say - adjustable dumbbells overall are pricey, especially during these times as more people look to workout at home. You are paying a premium for the smart connectivity features above and beyond what a comparable set of adjustable dumbbells would cost, but these are also a premium product in their own rite.

Great Product to start out on in weights then your able to move up at your own pace!

The dumbells feel well made. Time will tell of its longevity. Easy to use and set up. Just make sure u have a cord of some sort ling enough to reach from socket.

The app has been down for 2 weeks while the company transitions servers. Device is somewhat accurate without the app.
